“Excellent food and atmosphere. We ordered a sea bass , a prime rib and some appetizers. Steak lollipops , pheasant civet were very tasty. We got a tiramisu as a birthday cake, however we had our own cake with us. Blake took excellent care of us , he arranged a knife and water to slice the cake, extra plates.
We were looking for a fine dining in Carbondale, it wasn’t easy but we got a last minute reservation. As Chicagoans we are little spoiled with good places to eat, and Ruthie’s Steak & Seafood was a great place to go.
The restaurant is very nice so rather is better to overdress than underdress. Our waiter was very elegant. Thank you Blake for the wonderful service.”

“It’s a good, standard diner. Portions and prices are reasonable. Food is good. Coffee is standard diner coffee so don’t get your hopes up. Not very strong and doesn’t taste that great, but that’s what you get at a diner. Everything else was pretty good!”

“We ate here for my daughters birthday and we were super happy! I thought the whole train theme of the restaurant was so cool & the kids loved the train table they had for them to play with. The pizza was probably the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time! Super good & friendly staff. Definitely want to go back!”

“Great time celebrating a birthday with friends! Service was friendly and attentive. Margaritas were delicious. I am a sucker for a giant pretzel and baby it did not disappoint. Massive but so tasty and great cheese alongside. I barely had room for the wings I ordered but they were incredible too! Like something out of a food blog. Will definitely be back.”

“Greetings; in writing my review of Rob's Pit Barbeque in Carteville Illinois, I must say that those was the best tasting Rib Tips I've eaten since I was a little boy back in a small town in Arkansas. The meat was perfectly seasoned, thick, tender and juicy. The to-go plate was sufficient, although I could've eaten more, lol. Overall; everything was perfect, salute to the cooks, and hostess! There's no need for me to go anywhere else for my Rib Tips. I'll see you all again soon, when I bring the family and friends; thanks.”

“Dining at Walkers Bluff Tasting Room was a pleasure. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking and the side of potatoes was satisfying. My daughter's chicken Alfredo pizza was a hit. The quality of the meal warrants high praise. Additionally, the cave tour was fascinating.”

“My sister and I had a lovely dinner here last week. The food was fantastic, the staff was attentive and the atmosphere was great. We had Samosa, bread, yogurt, mango chicken and Saag chicken. We shared the dishes and still had leftovers!! We will be back😊”

“I want to give a huge shoutout to Kyle, manager at Quatro’s for his excellent customer service! He went above and beyond rectifying a couple of mishaps that I experienced with Q’s. My family have been ordering their pizza for years and I didn’t really want to start going somewhere else due to some problems with ordering etc, but kyle immediately called me (without me asking him to) and offered up a solution. Kudos to him especially when a lot of other restaurants would have just shrugged it off. Than u!!!”

That said, we did have to wait a bit to be seated, and the restaurant was really busy, so the service felt a bit slow and scattered at times. It’s understandable given how packed they were, but it did impact the overall experience slightly. Still, if you're not in a rush and want a tasty meal, it's worth a visit.”

“food is usually amazing just that one waitress mandy was rude and had an attitude.I ordered wings and when I went to pick them.up the waitress mandy said the sauce was in the bag and I checked. I told her there was none in there and she told me it would take awhile to get it and she walked outside. I stood there til the other guy asked if I needed something. he apologized for it not being in there. then when I got home to check the wings they were not even made right. this is the second time I have had a problem with the order. the manager had to come up there to fix it right.”
