“Everyone says Rips is the best, well....I used to work at Vinnie's and it was the best, Mike's tap in Peru was good too. I'm tellin' ya what...this is some damned fine fried chicken! Batter is thin and perfectly crispy, not overly greasy. Would recommend 10/10“

“Excellent food. Group of 8 and everyone enjoyed their meal. The French dip and buffalo chicken wrap were favorites. Amazing fries and even better was the side of corn. The chef did a great job with seasoning the food to perfection. Our tastebuds sang. He was even kind enough to check on our table. Large serving sizes. The entire staff was personable, friendly (making local recommendations and conversation) and very attentive and quick. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat (great classic music). “We stopped in Oglesby for the night as we traveled from Wis to Florida. ZomNye't is one of the nicest bartenders we've ever met. So friendly and efficient too. She constantly scans the bar for anyone needing service. The prices are great, the place is clean and free pool and jukebox the night we were there. They do not have food ( frozen pizza only) so we went across the street for great Mexican and ended up going back to Claudette's for an after dinner drink. Can't wait to stop next time we are passing through.“

The owner made sure to take time during quarantine to make updates to the bar and the bathrooms, he even added a patio! The staff cleans every night so this place is always in good condition. The prices are exceptional. You're guaranteed to have a great time here. Also, they have a private room upstairs for parties that you can request a bartender for. I've seen graduation parties, birthday parties, baby/bridal showers, and so much more hosted.“
