“Came here on taco Tuesday and Happy Hour and they didn’t disappoint. The bartender was also the server for all of the tables in the establishment and did she hustle! Very knowledgeable of the menu with questions I had.

On Tuesday it’s $2 steak or chicken tacos with cilantro, onion and cheese. It comes with a side of homemade salsa Verde and you can get pico de gallo for an extra fee. Domestic beers are $1.50 during happy hour from 3 to 6. With two beers, seven tacos and a side of pico the bill was $18. Well worth it.

Wednesday is half price pizza. This is a nice little local place with good food and drink options. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop.“

“They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

“Legit 5 star experience thanks to Derek and staff. They found out we were visiting from out of town and went out of their way to make us feel at home. I had the meatball salad, we shared the brussel sprouts, and sampled some Whistlepig Rye and a beer we'd never heard of. All the food was top notch but the friendly staff is what'll keep you coming back.“

“Visited from STL and this time the owner was there. Very chill laid back good time. This particular night they had karaoke, which was fun. The bartenders are friendly and know how to pour. Shavon kept the drinks coming! The owner is hands on, friendly professional and made sure to show us out of towners hospitality. After a few dances and drinks we ordered food to go. This spot is always on a list even if it’s a short visit. Stop by for a mature crowd and a good time.“

“The tacos are small, authentic and delicious. Good enough for me to order two to go. Except they didnt make my to-go tacos the same. It had too much cheese. The host/bartender/waitress did not speak English and most of the food on the menu didnt exist. I wanted chicken quesadillas and she shook her head no. I wasn't sure if she didn't have chicken quesadillas or no quesadillas at all. I asked about other items on the menu and she smiled and frowned at the same time. So I ordered chicken tacos to simplify things. It took a lot to get her attention. She gravitated to the guys in my party. Little did she know, they weren't paying or tipping. The classic margarita with the red margarita salt was delicious. Lastly, there was a couple dinning at a table near by filming me and my friends. I'll be fine if I don't revisit this restaurant.“

“Had a wonderful lunch for a monthly retired teacher group. Joe and Vicki gave us the room in the back. Our meals were fantastic and Paige, our server, was wonderful! We were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were treated to several amazing desserts. The service was above and beyond our expectations. We booked our Christmas party here in December.“

“Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“

“Had the pleasure of hosting my first baby shower here a few weeks back, and despite the covid issues we were still able to pull off an amazing party! With the help of the owner Jessica! Everything was wonderful, plenty of space for guests to keep a social distance, bar option available, a nice stage and Dj booth for music. Everything was very clean and modern. Jessica even helped us get decorated and set up. I couldn't have asked for a better venue! Everything turned out beautifully! Thank you City Limits! We will definitely be returning soon“

“Not a bad place. Music is good and the staff was friendly. The drinks weren't watered down.
Seating can be an issue. They have booths that say reserved but if the bar is taken up I usually sit there with no problems with staff unless someone is having a party.
Had chicken wings and the seasoning wasn't bad but we could tell it was cooked in fish grease. Maybe they dont do this every night but they did last night.“

“Went for the first time last week. Got there while waiting for a friend. Word of mouth got me to the Cottage, and I was very impressed. The owner was a very friendly woman that was very knowledgeable about the bar itself, and I could tell she was very proud of her hard work and business.
The tap beer was fantastic, and I could tell the lines were clean because the beer was so fresh. We both had Reubens and they were how a Reuben should taste.

“Stopped into Sebastian's Ale & Whiskey House for a late lunch, and it was a great find. They have a large menu with plenty of options, plus some really good daily specials. The bartender was welcoming, attentive, and even pointed out where the specials were on the menu so I wouldn't miss them, which I really appreciated.

The atmosphere is perfect if you're looking to catch a game, with TVs throughout the restaurant. I was also impressed by how inclusive their menu is. In addition to a dedicated vegan menu, they offer a non-alcoholic drink menu with vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free options, making it easy for people with different dietary preferences to find something they'll enjoy.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience with good food, friendly service, and lots of choices. If I'm passing through the area again, I'd definitely stop in for another meal.“
