“Alma R was fantastic give her a raise. It’s airport food but extremely solid food. Expensive but great. Two double jack and cokes and a Italian omelet with chicken Apple sausage was $63 without the tip.
Toast was toast but it’s pretty good. Omelet was absolutely fire 🔥🔥🔥

“Came here after seeing the pictures and variety in what you could get. I liked the vermicelli bowl and they were even able to replace the egg roll with a spring roll since I don’t eat pork without charging me extra. The owl was filling and flavorful and their chili crisp also helped to add flavor to it as well. Thai iced tea was cold and refreshing and super sweet as well.“

“Yesterday, I went to celebrate with family and friends my birthday. I love this location since I moved to the suburbs. The service was great! Our server Silvia was very friendly and helpful. “Sure! I had an amazing experience at Mr. Submarine at 8542 Ogden Ave in Lyons, IL. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that made me feel truly welcomed. The staff was attentive, polite, and eager to make sure I had everything I needed, which really stood out.
I ordered a combo sub and a pizza puff, and I have to say, it was exactly what I needed. The food came out fast and fresh, which was a relief since it was the first thing I had eaten all day. The combo sub was packed with flavor, with perfectly sliced meats, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of seasoning. The bread was soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without getting soggy. The pizza puff was crispy, cheesy, and delicious, adding the perfect touch to my meal.
Not only was the food top-notch, but the overall experience was fantastic. The staff really goes the extra mile to ensure customers leave happy, and that level of service is rare to find these days. I left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit. “We waited a long time to be served our food. After being seated 15 mins prior to everyone receiving their food and beverages before us we spoke to the manager MaryLynn and she resolved the issue expeditiously. “Mr. Sub has always been my favorite! Whenever people ask me why, I can never quite put my finger on it—I just say it’s simply the best. Over the years, I’ve rarely lived close enough to make it a regular stop, but it’s always been worth the drive.
When I was pregnant with my son 35 years ago, I craved submarine sandwiches constantly. Back then, I’d make the trip from Woodridge out to the Berwyn/Cicero or Brookfield locations just to satisfy that craving.
These days, if I’m anywhere near a Mr Submarine, I make it a point to stop. After all this time, my order hasn’t changed: a King size Mr. Sub sandwich (I save the other 1/2 for lunch the next day). The only difference now is I’ve added the garlic-parm fries to the mix—they’re so good we usually eat them in the car on the way back home to Sycamore.
The only thing I would change is to have a location in Sycamore, IL!

“Placed my order to be picked up by 2, I got my text that it was "ready". it wasn't, at least not my drinks. I was handed off my empty cups, to serve myself? one I could do, not the other....my coffee was suppose to have cinnamon syrup and an espresso shot, that's not at the beverage station, so i ask where do i get my extras(which i paid for) all I get is 😳 from young lady, manager or supervisor comes out but just fumbles, and as I walk out fuming mad.... he tells me I would like to see your receipt, did not ask while I had him beside me..... but decides to holler that as I walk out FU.... the only item that was for me I got ripped off paying all that, to just end up with a plain cup of coffee.“

“Super sweet and awesome service. The food is amazing. We are from Minneapolis and we are happy to find a restaurant w/amazing service and a family atmosphere. We spent more than $30 and got free crab Rangoon. Talk about a great deal! The portions are great. Come here and enjoy some yummy food.“
