“I had an engagement party for my Son and his fiancée. It was in the lawn next to our building on the lake in Chicago. A casually elegant setting. We had a lot of different food prepared professionally and I made salads, and we grilled steaks, burgers and chicken. Khmai was enlisted to do all the appetizers, some additional salads and various spreads and dips. I have Mai my approximate budget, let her know what I was preparing and planned to cook and asked her to do her best to come up with what she thought would be best as complimentary. She outdid herself. The staff is lovely to work with, helpful and genuine. My guests were blown away by the delicious and complex tastes we are not used to since most had never had Cambodian food prior. Fermented catfish dip? Wonderful, all the rolls veg or not were terrific, shrimp toast was my personal favorite, salads crisp, spicy and everything felt special and unique. Flavors so rich and vibrant felt like a special treat. It was perfect served with standard picnic fare a little elevated. The atmosphere of the party was pitch perfect, while retaining a quiet all American type picnic feel, the quality of both the food I had prepared and grilled, plus the array of flavors the appetizers added made it seem really special and definitely a treat and celebratory. It felt like someone really cared and tried to make it memorable and my guests were over the moon for this food. I would absolutely recommend dining there, we have a few times and it’s a family feeling you just can’t force or create without it being real. “I never have complaints when I eat from BIBIBOP! My food is always fresh and delicious. Whether it's the Salmon, chicken, steak or Korean Barbeque, the proteins are tasty. “Cold Chicago night and we wanted something warm and delicious. A few people told me to try this place and we did. Unfortunately for us it was about a 40 minute wait outside the cold which usually means the food is great inside if people are willing to wait. Once inside we enjoyed food and drinks. Unfortunately they got 2 order wrong but it was a big thing to us since we are not allergic to corn but they should be more careful about that.“

“Decided to try out this place after hearing it from a client. I was delighted that they have a simple kiosk ordering system which made things quick and easy. Ordered the pork and ginger dumplings and the grilled chicken. The dumplings even though they were hot, they were still flavorful. The chicken paired with the coconut rice was well-cooked and very filling. I had the egg tart for dessert and it tasted okay, Overall still satisfied with the experience and food.“

“Tofu bun, fried rice and edamame hummus were great, in fact first time I had tried such a hummus and it's highly recomendable! I would have given the food a better rating if it wasn't for the spice level in the ramen. I ordered the tan-tan san, which indicated it has a kick of spice in it. When asking about the spice level, I was told that they would makse sure that it wasn't as spicy by not adding any kimchi or oil. As soon as I tried it, this was not the case as it was way too spicy to eat.“

“this has become my favorite poké bowl shop in the city. the quality of ingredients i think is a cut above the rest, especially the salmon. i’ve had dozens and dozens of bowls from here and will keep coming back for more, as it’s just consistently delicious, well-portioned bowls.

out of all these bowls i’ve eaten, one was not the quality i’ve come to expect (WAY too much unagi sauce), but after calling, the person i spoke with made it right immediately with a replacement bowl. i really appreciated the great service!!“

“Been coming to Yatai frequently for about two years now, and every time it meets or exceeds my expectations. Service is quick and the workers are kind and check in on you frequently to make sure you have everything you need. Prices are fair especially for the portions (rice bowls, fried rice, noodle dishes, etc). My personal favorites from the menu are the crab rangoons and the crunchy sweet potato tempura rolls! BYOB and they’ll provide glasses if you need them! Absolutely love this place, cannot recommend it enough.“

“Che Thai is a fantastic local spot and everything we’ve tried has been delicious. The Pad See Ew is hands down the best I’ve had in Chicago — perfectly tender noodles, well-cooked chicken, and incredible flavor. Just so good.

The garlic noodles are also a standout. The lo mein noodles are thicker than expected, which actually makes the dish even more comforting and satisfying.
