I've been going here since it opened (along with my sister and our roommate), and the atmosphere is very nice and I think it's been a great addition to the neighborhood.
But recently I feel part of what made it great is gone. They cut out some of my favorite parts of the menu. The cucumber smoothie (yay something mild and delicate for those of us with a more sensitive pallet) and their sandwiches!!!! Which was the most unique part of their menu I felt that made it stand...read full review

Stopped by BellyBowl Kitchen & Boba Bar in the South Loop for a quick dinner, and this spot is an absolute clutch find. I ordered the spicy pork belly bowl over rice with a side of crispy dumplings, and every single bite was straight-up fire. BellyBowl Kitchen & Boba Bar is a conveniently located restaurant next to the bus and train station. The food receives strong praise, described as simply the best, absolutely amazing, delicious, very tasty, and so good. Specific highlights include the chicken egg rolls, bulgogi bowl, crispy chicken bowl, beef noodles, and vegetarian options. Their boba is loved, with recommendations for the strawberry matcha slush, banana smoothie, and mango smoothie. The lunch deal is particularly good, and portions are very large and great for the price. Some notes mention that vegetables by themselves can be rather bland and that the place had a sewer smell, making dine-in not recommended. The staff is noted for being helpful and swiftly handling issues.
