Went here back in April of this year (2023) and everything was great. The food, the bar, and the atmosphere were all superb. They HAD* the best burger I have ever eaten, so I swore to come back one day to watch the Cubs game and get a bite of that burger again. I had an overall good experience here at the Cubby Bear. I came to see an emo/pop punk cover band and I had heard certain things about the Cubby Bear so I honestly wasn't expecting much. The venue is a pretty cool set-up - there are two bars that line both sides of the venue (at the time of the show only one bar was open), there are plenty of table and chairs in the middle, and they do leave room in the front for standing closer to live acts.
