Very attentive to my food restrictions and staff was so welcoming
A bit expensive but what you would expect to find in a hotel. Nice selection of mixed drinks and beers. Food is good - get the brownie with vanilla ice cream!
I want to take the time out to shout out our bar tender Kerry . Kerry was amazing and took care of us at the bar. Growing up in the south we are big on hospitality and Kerry embodied that. He made us feel like family. Kerry pours with his heart and the drinks he made us were nothing short of amazing. Even when we asked for our own special drinks he was attentive and took his time to make sure we were satisfied. Kerry runs that bar so smoothly and does it with a smile. Current is a restaurant that offers great food, better service, and an awesome atmosphere. The chef, Chef Joc, is very professional and takes the time to meet and listen to every diner. The prices are comparable to the downtown Chicago area. Guests enjoy amazing drinks and dishes like the Blackened Salmon and chicken pesto sandwich, though some find the latter a bit flavorless. The Sweet Rose cocktail and knowledgeable staff recommendations stand out, but dessert options like the chocolate cake or donuts can be inconsistent. Service is friendly and apologetic, though delays may occur. The restaurant is part of the W hotel and may not be wheelchair accessible due to steps at the entrance.
