The Franklin Tap was a great find and is conveniently located within walking distance of LaSalle Street Station. My boyfriend, three friends, and I stopped in to watch the FIFA game and had an awesome experience from start to finish.

This place is a decent spot for a HH in the loop. Staff can be hit or miss but when they’re a hit they keep your drinks full and friends happy. Food is alright and it’s a bit dark in there but it’s one of the few middle class bars in the area. Higher than a dive bar (but close) lower than a fancy bar for sure.
