Fung's Chop Suey Reviews
Great slushy
I ordered the shrimp fried rice and was very disappointed. The rice tasted burned, there were only a few shrimp in the dish, and despite requesting extra green onions, there was barely any included. The elderly lady who assisted me was very kind and pleasant, and I appreciated her friendly service. Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. Based on this experience, I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this restaurant to others.
Very disappointed. I go on regular due to convenience.the food service has gone downnn! My food was terrible and I paid for extra green onions.i receive nothing. I value my money and learned my lessons 💯 stay away 💯

Fung's Chop Suey is a typical Chinese takeout restaurant located in a neighborhood area. The interior has one chair for customers waiting for their orders. There is a strip mall parking area, but it can be challenging to find a spot due to its popularity. The restaurant offers vegetarian options, making it a good choice for vegetarians. It's also kid-friendly, providing affordable meals for families. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible entrance and parking area. The lunch special costs a little over $10, with an additional upcharge for specialty rice. The food costs around $11, and it does not come with a drink. They serve short-grain rice smothered in soy sauce, with some green vegetables, but it lacks other vegetables and eggs, which are usually in good fried rice.
The orange chicken lunch special is not orange-flavored and has a "meh" sauce that tries to hide the cheap, spicy, and below-average chicken. The egg foo yung has a sweet taste, but the patties are overcooked and dry, lacking depth of flavor in the gravy. Customers have tried dishes like beef lo mein, combo fried rice, egg rolls, and crab rangoon. Some found the lo mein noodles to be strange, as it was more like angel hair pasta and tasted salty. The fried rice was okay, with big egg rolls that had good flavor and lots of filling. The crab rangoon was not very filled and was just fried dough, so many wouldn’t get it again. One customer mentioned that their favorite dish was the Lunch Special Beef fried rice with crab rangoons and an egg roll, which was a regular order for them over three years.
However, recent issues include high prices and new fees for online orders, which customers find shady and unfair. Parking is tight, and some feel it’s unsafe. Overall, the food is considered average, and the orange chicken is subpar, so it may not be a regular stop for some customers.
