This neighborhood place has menu worthy of making this it a destination! If I lived in the neighborhood, I’d be a regular diner. The new owner brought in a new chef. Scallop weekly special. Bone marrow with mallort. Great food.
The new owners have really made this place lively. Came for Halloween and was NOT disappointed!
EDIT: Jamie professionally handled a patron who was belligerently drunk and being rude to others and got him to leave without a scene, this is why I continue to come back

Gio's Bar & Grill is an incredible Chicago gem with phenomenal food and customer service. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are attentive and super friendly. They offer a delicious special menu, and dessert can even come out with sparklers. This fun neighborhood place is perfect for celebrating, with karaoke, glow sticks, and free champagne contributing to memorable nights.
Gio's is a perfect neighborhood joint where the drinks and food are excellent. They have many TVs, making it a great spot to watch games. Specialty shots are recommended, including the Ferrari, Dead Nazi, and Bag of Dicks. They also offer a favorite cider on tap and serve phenomenal burgers and onion rings. The crowd is lively and fun, and karaoke adds to the great times. Gio's is a place to return to.
