I needed a place to meet up with some friends when I was in town and decided on Harrison's as it was between my location and that of my friends. It was a great Saturday afternoon and we ended up hanging out for hours. We all ordered food and at least two coffees each! The shop was pretty busy but we were never made to feel like we overstayed our welcome--quite the opposite! Great spot, GREAT coffee and awesome atmosphere. If I were local, I'd be at Harrison's all the time!
Good coffee, friendly staff, local art, comfortable seating. Good vibes all around. Plus points for Bill Callahan playing for most our visit. It's our go to coffee shop for informal meetings in the area. Check it out if you're in the area.

Was looking for a relaxing cafe to catch up with a friend, and this one was a great choice! It's a little removed from the cluster of cafes on Milwaukee, and that might be what gives it such a friendly neighborhood vibe. I got the breakfast burrito, and it was fantastic! Great ingredients, and nice to have a cafe with solid food options. Will definitely be back!
