This place is awesome!!! I’ve been to the archer location a few times. It’s a bit of a drive but quite worth it. I live on the north side. Today I stumbled into their new location! Huaraches Chicago serves breakfast and other meals. The staff is attentive and nice. A special request for a child's food was accommodated. The carne asada huarache with green salsa, onions, cilantro, avocado, and sour cream tastes great at both Brighton Park and Portage Park. At Portage Park the order can be taken to go in sturdy cardboard boxes. Shrimp on the Huaraches and the mole are also great. The place feels down home, has friendly service and good bang for the buck. Service is good and the place is clean, but parking can be hard to find. Some dishes taste like egg because everything may be cooked on the same grill.
