Overall, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in Chicago.I've been here two times. First time, I ordered Huaraches, and second time, I ordered the gordita dinner. Both times, the food was excellent. The carne asada is incredibly well seasoned. The tortillas they use strike a balance between soft and toasty. I have had alot of top notch food around the city but Jerez is always consistent, a staple for me on the north side. Torta de asada (steak) is great, toasty soft bread and well balanced on the portions. Biggest compliment is the PRICE is reasonable. Give it a shot.

Just ordered steak tacos, delicious!! The nice cashier girl was friendly, attentive, asked if I needed anything extra. Only waited about 15 minutes for my order. Cute little establishment, didn't have a dine-in experience but it was nice in there. Papas fritas were fried a bit longer than needed but still very delicious! I would recommend this place and will return.
