We had a wonderful time at the pretty and modern Le Bar prior to our celebratory dinner in a restaurant nearby. Clayton the attentive bartender made sure our glasses were always full and that we were well looked after. We'll definitely return. Thank you, Clayton!
This is the bar at the Sofitel Hotel Chicago. After checking in to the very comfortable and dimly lit rooms, it was a shock shock how bright and garish the lights are at Le Bar. One can see everything undecthose lights including the cracked mirror trim and the cracked black wood; It's time to take out the black Sharpie to hide the wood cracks. Anyway the burger was fair. I am a huge fan of hotel bars when they are good and Le Bar is up there for me. Of course I am bias as I will love a place on principle if they are serving bubbles.Le Bar is not like most hotel bars, it feels more like someone's living room or den.
