Margarita's Pizzeria II is a restaurant located on the northwest side of the street, on the corner of Calumet Street, not on King Dr. Despite its simple exterior and being a "hole in the wall" location, it offers delicious and fresh food. The pizza has a thin crust, not greasy, and with a reasonable amount of tomato sauce. The large sausage and cheese pizza is phenomenal, with great taste that is off the chain. The steak tacos are also a popular choice. The service is noted to be friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable. They offer vegetarian options, and the meat options are fresh. The restaurant is well-regarded for its great-tasting pizza, being considered one of the most underrated pizza places on the south side of Chicago. However, the chicken pasta (mostocoli) is dry, with no sauce and no flavor, and should be avoided. Stick with the pizza, which is fantastic when cooked thoroughly and not over-sauced.
