I found this gem of a pizza place on a trip to Chicago a few months ago and had been looking for a good slice of pizza and a Google search led me here. The staff was very friendly and we chatted about music and the world's longest running music festival which is SummerFest in Milwaukee while my slice was being heated. 1st timer via a “Too Good to Go” specialty slice order. Got 2 of their Brownstown slices (ricotta & mozz, sausage, pepperon. & artichoke hearts) for $6.63. We ate there since it was starting to rain. The place is compact, designed more for ”to-go” orders. 3 small rectangular tables w/ bar stools & a standing counter. Just tried this place at night after a few glasses of wine. I can't eat pizza at night anymore even though I crave it. This pizza did not upset my stomach like most pizzas do so I was able to eat it! Most thin crust pizzas are way too greasy and upset my stomach. People complain that this pizza tastes like 'cardboard' because they are just used to greasy pizza! This pizza is on the drier side but it's very flavorful. If you love greasy pizza, do not go here!
