I love this spot, I somehow missed they opened a year ago, and just came across them. My first time here the ladies working were so sweet and accommodated me switching my order after I saw something else that spoke to me on the menu. I’ve been back since and every member of the staff I have interacted with are so lovely!
Pastries and coffees are always 10/10 and a clean relaxing atmosphere!
The prices are above normal but the quality is for sure here. I walked in for a casual breakfast bite and was shocked at the calm ambiance and well crafted sounds in the room. It feels sort of like a museum. The espresso tonic is fantastic and the toasties are delish. I do wish they were bigger- I wouldn't say you leave full. HOWEVER, what a fantastic spot to escape the city in! I never expected to decompress in a cafe.

Postcard is a cozy, modern café with a warm, minimalist design and a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The coffee, especially the latte, is smooth, rich, and carefully made, making it a favorite spot for relaxing or catching up with friends. Many visitors find it one of the best coffee places in Chicago, enjoying the friendly vibe and thoughtful details.
