The average 3 stars Chinese place. Fried rice was not impressive but the "Medium" portion was huge. Crab ragoons are disappointing because of too much dough and just a tiny bit of filling.
It's cafeteria style restaurant where the food is cooked fresh. Now the garlic chicken has not a tap of garlic in it so I wouldn't get that again. The egg rolls and wontons are fresh and good. Would I go back? Yes.
Most Chinese places in Chicago suck. You usually get some half cooked noodles and dry chicken. This place is a much fresher, flavorful, moist, version of Panda Express. At the end of the day, that's the type of Chinese comfort food that I need. I'm not expecting the most accurate Chinese food in America. I just want something that tastes GOOD. This. HITS.
