The food was pretty good. If I could give 4.5 stars I would. They were so very nice. My toast was the only disappointment. They toasted the bread then didn’t butter it. By the time I got it, it wasn’t real warm and the butter they gave me was very cold. So it didn’t spread. I would still give them another try though.
Best shrimp and grits I've eaten in Chicago. Creamy grits topped by the biggest, most succulent shrimp.Very friendly service.You'll want to kiss the cook when you're done eating. And then take a nap!

Popped into this place for a brunch during our latest Chicago trip. Yummy! Very enjoyable experience!! Eggs prepared exactly as ordered, potatoes had terrific seasoning, and the whole dish was so warm and welcoming (hash)!! Other key takeaways...cute tabletops, extremely clean, and a friendly staff to boot. So glad we chose this spot. :)Kid-friendliness: My son who is medium picky also enjoyed the hash and ate all three bacon slices as a side!
