“Are there tonight , I had the fish and chips but opted for a side salad instead. It was delicious! Plenty to take home. We also had the island shrimp for an appetizer and it was the best ! My husband had the French onion burger and said it was also amazing. Service was great. Only regret was not having room for dessert. We will be back.”

“Our Chillicothe Dairy Queen deserves a 100% rating! The ice cream is always great and workers care. Plus it's super convenient not having to drive into Peoria. It's worth noting they don't have a full grill menu but the items they serve are delicious.”

“I placed an online order for a couple sandwiches and some sides including regular fries,curly fries, onion stack, and mushrooms. Even though everything was ordered separately, the order was fixed exactly correct. The sides were with the correct sandwiches and the mushrooms were placed on the sandwich where I wanted them even though I expected them to be put in a side container. Everything was outstanding including the pickles and onions on my cheeseburger. A++ in my book.”

“Great food!!! Came in for lunch on a recommendation and was not disappointed! Staff was friendly and informative about the menu, and the atmosphere is cozy & clean. We had the tortellini, artichoke and spinach soup (to die for!) and the turkey bacon melt sandwich (yum!). Both were fresh, hot and delicious. Do yourself a favor and check out Odie’s….it’s GREAT!”

“I want to start by saying the 2 young guys working yesterday were great! Food and service were great as always. But I want to complain about the atmosphere because the owners really should make some improvements for the heat. It was terribly hot yesterday. I understand AC issues can be pricey. However, this store is all windows and that sun was beating inside. The thermostat on the wall said 95. The AC unit above the door that drips on your head (always been that way) was set on 60 but no cool air was coming out of it. That's dangerous conditions for workers. The guys working were pleasant and didn't complain. But while I was waiting for my food, other people came in and everyone commented how terrible it felt in there and expressed concern for the workers. Put up some working blinds or curtains or something and at least invest in a working AC unit for the employees.”

We had a rough start during our visit to Hardee’s in Chillicothe, but I have to say the way it was handled made all the difference. After bringing our concerns to the attention of the general manager, Jodi she went above and beyond to make things right. She was super sweet, kind, and genuinely cared about our experience. Her professionalism and warm attitude completely turned things around for us. Thanks to her, we’ll be back.”

“Sunday August 25th, the man who was working by himself during lunch did a phenomenal job. He never got overwhelmed by how busy it was. And he had patience with the three kids I brought. To show them the different bread/sizes. And taking their order. The kids had never been to subway before, so I was trying to help them order. By the end I just got out of the way and let them tell your employee. Again he did an awesome job and I just wanted to recognize that.”

“First time visit,Over all the food was average. For the price below average. I had the Bluegill with Au gratin potatoes and green beans with Iced-tea. MY review: the Bluegill was deep-fat fried too long which made it dry and crunchy. Their tartar sauce made it edible. Now as for the Au gratin potatoes, very cheap and cheesy. Whomever, makes this need a lesson in really good Au Gratin Potatoes. Their version is frozen shredded breakfast hashbrown potatoes smothered in a velveeta cheese sauce and placed under a broiler. Mine was a little burnt. I could not eat it, I tried 2 bites but that was it. My guest also tried it and was not impressed. The green were the best part of the meal. My guest had the Walleye and it was very good, same with his rice pilaf. His meal also came with a slice of toasted marble-rye bread. His meal was better. Our ice tea's were watered down by too much ice. No one offered refill/toppers. Our split dessert was their Texas sheet cake. It was an overpriced brownie with bad frosting/glaze. Our server was sweet, so she still got her tip. We traveled approximately 30 miles to check this place out. I don't feel it is worth the drive to eat there again.”

We are picky about our Mexican food, having lived in the Chicago area for most of our lives and with great Mexican cooks in the family. The food and great and the staff very friendly. “We are new to Peoria. We love fried chicken. But we had two bad experiences , one with Popeyes and one with KFC. We discovered Rick’s just a little over a mile from our new home. What a great discovery! Chicken was perfect, fresh and tasty. The service was great at this local chicken shack. Forget the fast food chains, drive over to Mossville. You won’t be disappointed. We will be regular customers.”

“I went for lunch today and had the catfish, dinner salad, and Cole slaw. It was an actual channel catfish, cooked with the most perfect crust that was not at all grease on it, the salad had the freshest salad greens, slices if cucumber, and tomatoes, with delicious croutons. The cole slaw is made there, is creamy, and I fell in love with all of it. The owner is a perfectionist and the food is too quality! I have not found anyone else in Peoria that serves this quality of food. I will be there at least once a week! Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!”
