“Love this hidden gem in Cicero. Typical sports bar with great drink specials, live music on Friday nights, and DJ on Saturday nights. Great for watching all sporting events! Also has a gaming room with all of the best machines. As the sign on the building says its “the best kept secret in Cicero”!!“

In addition, the environment here is also very comfortable and spacious, which makes people feel very relaxed and happy. “Solemn Oath is a great little brewery. Cozy and full of great types of beer. I met some lovely dogs indoor..... Yep they allow dogs inside. I had a really awesome natural aged stout the was creamy with a chocolate aftertaste. There is a pool table inside. Would definitely come back!!“

“Very comfortable atmosphere. Seems like there are a lot of regulars because the staff greets people (and dogs) by name. I luckily stopped in for Happy Hour. Pours were 20% off ($7.20ish a draft). I had parmesan truffle fries but the parmesan was commercial powder and I couldn't taste the truffle, but I'll try the cheese curds next time. People around me really seemed to enjoy the tacos. There are also menu items that can be made vegan. And simple plant based substitutes for vegetarian with Beyond patties and chorizo, which I appreciate and those substitutions are their own menu items, not an up-charge. Very friendly staff and kind patrons.“

“My favorite burger that I’ve ever had in the city. I could not believe how incredible this place was. Got a pretty cheap bottle considering the quality and it was perfect. Everything else on the menu looked amazing and I can’t wait to come back and try the rest. “We had friends in town for the night and knew we would get a good meal and experience at Gaia. We sat outside so had to pause conversation for the passing BNSF and Metra trains, but that is all part of the ambiance. We had the arrancini special appetizer which had the perfect ratio of rice to filling. I had the halibut, and it was perfectly prepared with a piccata sauce and angel hair. Our friends enjoyed that the staff is familiar and all welcoming which adds to the neighborhood feel.“

“My favorite brewery! Really friendly service, and delicious fresh cold brews from the refreshing Grapefruit Raddler, smooth layers, to darker, stronger and different beers for any taste.

The smattering of food is great from sharing a pizza with friends to noshing a soft pretzel on your own pizza (really though, big enough for a 4 person snack).

The outside area is bigger every year and a great place to meet people!

And Spiteful is a great neighbor. They are always supporting Bowmanville and the surrounding area.“

“I live down the street and came here with my wife and kids for dinner. Not the typical Thai menu. Had the satay skewers that came with a delicious pickled salad that was so spicy I was crying and laughing and panting like a dog. Also shared the hot pot which comes with steak and meatballs and herbs and noodles and broth. Delicious food and the fire was kinda cool but unnecessary but that is coming from a boring old guy. “Stopped by Four Moon Tavern on a Friday night, had the Pimento Burger and a side of onion rings. Burger was juicy, cheesy, and hit the spot; onion rings were crispy and not greasy. Tossed back a $3.50 bottle of Schlitz during happy hour, can’t beat that. The jukebox was playing classic rock, the vibe was chill, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a solid neighborhood bar with good food and drinks. I’ll be back for sure.“

“They only offer high top tables. After sitting on the chairs for an hour your ass really starts to be uncomfortable. They do have regular tables outside. I loved their cider options. I had a 2 Towns pineapple cider and an Original Sin pear cider. Both were really good. I also got their steak wrap with fries. It was really good. They have Coke products. Our waitress was great. We never had an empty drink. She was friendly and accommodating. They do have a lot of food and drink options. They also have a free shuttle to all Bears home games. They also have weekend brunch. Great place to watch a game and have a good bite to eat.

“Social Junkie is one the top 3 best bars in the dunning area. I’ve been coming here since they rebranded and it’s always been a fun time! Great drink selections and their food is outstanding. I’ve tried a couple of different items from their menu over the years and I recently got their Parma burger and fries. They were both delightful and it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I can’t explain it, but the taste was so unique and also very affordable compared to other bar and grills in the city. It’s a worth a visit when you are in the dunning area!“
