“We were looking for a nice place to get a drink that wasn’t crazy during the St.Pattys river dying festival because everywhere was sooooooo busy. We ended up coming here because of a recommendation and it did not disappoint!!! The drinks were amazing and the bar tenders were such good company. “I met up with some coworkers at Sky Ride Tap for drinks right after our shift today. The vibe inside is a classic, no-nonsense Loop dive bar and it is the perfect spot to unwind. I just ordered a couple of cold domestic bottles and a shot of whiskey while watching the game on their TV. The bartender was super friendly and definitely did not skim on the pour. Just make sure you bring cash.“

“My sister had a special event there and every was exquisite from the food to the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the bar tender was rude, very unprofessional, he made the experience with us very lack luster. If that is the person serving our drinks I wouldn't trust because before the end of the night he would serve us drinks or food. yet he still served everyone else.“

“I attended a party in the party room. There was a cash bar in the room and the attendants were really nice. The room was a very nice size. They allow you to decorate. There are about 10 round tables and chairs provided as well. In addition, you can also bring your own food. Even with the table and chairs, there was space for the dessert table, DJ booth as well as a balloon arch with backdrop for photos. Oh, one final thing, the room has its own entrance from the parking lot and two bathrooms for your party guests.“

“The Berkshire Room is one of my favorite speakeasies in Chicago. While they offer a fantastic cocktail menu and a full bar, I almost always order The Dealer's Choice. You simply choose your preferred spirit, flavor profile, and glassware, then let the mixologist create something just for you. It's one of my favorite cocktail experiences in the city, and they've never steered me wrong. What I especially appreciate is how knowledgeable the bartenders are. They're always happy to offer recommendations if you're unsure what to order, but they're equally excited to create something completely unique if you're feeling adventurous. Watching them craft each drink is part of the experience.

I've even hosted a birthday gathering here in their private side room, where we enjoyed charcuterie boards alongside our cocktails. If you're just stopping in for drinks, though, I'd recommend grabbing dinner beforehand, as the food offerings are fairly limited. More often than not though, you'll find me sitting right at the bar. I love watching the bartenders showcase their craft and chatting with them about the incredible selection of spirits they have on hand. It's a great spot for anyone who genuinely appreciates well-made cocktails and the artistry behind them.

I'm also a member of their loyalty program, which is well worth joining. It can be used at The Berkshire Room as well as several other excellent restaurants, making it an easy way to earn rewards while exploring some great dining spots around the city.

“If you go for the small plates and yet have an appetite, pick two. For dinner I had the Costillas and Arroz Chaufa mixed with chorizo, shrimp, peppers, egg and scallions. Hit the spot. “My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience at The Pearl Club. We started with espresso martinis which was a great start to the night and a great cocktail. We moved onto food with their house made banana bread ice cream which was one of the best scoops we have ever had. We paired it with their banana bread cocktail which was a well balanced drink which paired well with the dessert. The service was amazing and one of the managers Scott along with the rest of the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. We really enjoyed the ambiance of the place especially the upstairs which was cozy and great for a date night. An added touch to the place was the long standing history that dates back to the early 1900s. Overall we had an amazing night and will definitely be coming back!“
