“First time trying this place as is just few minutes away from my company new location. I didn’t order anything from their set menu, as I only wanted to get serving of chicken, gyro meat and Italian beef with side of tzatziki sauce- and the staff accustomed my needs perfectly! Must say I’m very pleasantly surprised! Most of places are fussing about preparing something out of their standard menu - this guys are more than happy to creat a meal to satisfy their guest!

“I was in the neighborhood, so thought I would try Happy Bites and am so glad I did! on Wednesday I had the chicken sandwich special for 6.99. ( Sandwich, fries, and drink) Delicious chicken with toppings and lots of mayo on a stand up bun. I don't like them to fall apart. I don't usually eat fries, but these slightly seasoned, yet not salty, crispy hot fries were great! I ordered a side of sweet potato tots and they were equally delicious. I will return! Great food served hot, I don't mind waiting for my food to be made fresh. Great specials, more people should take advantage of the deals! Thank you!“

We got 2 sliders each (1 beef and 1 chicken) and the portions were very small compared to what was expected.

“1st time trying this place in Des Plaines and I must say that the bumper fries, bumper chicago style hotdog, chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce which was great paired together and the bumper burger was all amazing 😋 👌 Definitely a must try🙌 I also like that it's all Halal meat so it's never frozen always fresh ❤️“

“When I entered, I was warmly greeted by a nice young man named Evan. He took my order and was very polite about all the extra changes I requested for my burger. The burger came out fresh and hot. I ordered the combo meal with a drink and received an a lot of extra fries, which were crispy and delicious. I also appreciate the option to choose milk instead of soda or lemonade. This place is a 10/10, and I will definitely come back.“

Both sandwiches were big and left me feeling full. The chicken is fried like a fish and I love the breading. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for varieties of burgers and a pretty chill restaurant environment. Parking was easy to find (street parking) and they have some games in the back while you wait for your food which is nice.“

“Astonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.“

“No doubt the pizza’s are amazing but once we bring them home they do not taste good as we dine in at eat. Also, not only me but alot of people have noticed how rude the guy is who picks up the call. I am giving my order over the phone and he rushes me because he has someone coming in his restaurant. Next , I ask him couple of questions which he shows so much attitude. Third , I hate dining in this place . The guy keeps checking to see if we didn’t make the tables or floor messy. No kind of professionalism. We do not eat free . We pay for the pizza’s he should not show this type of etiquette“

A burger joint in a strip mall doesn’t inspire confidence, but you walk into this cozy place, with attractive wall murals, and somehow you get the feeling that you’re in the right place. We were in a rush, so came here for a quick lunch - ordered the following: double cheeseburgers, peri peri burgers, veggie samosa burger (off menu) and mango habañero wings….and EVERYTHING was fantastic!!! The double cheeseburgers were juicy, and succulent, the peri peri grilled chicken burger was tender and saucy, the wings were absolutely delicious, crisp despite the mango habañeeo sauce which had the perfect level of sweet heat. Lastly, the veggie burger - so the menu has FANTASTIC samosas, so when we asked if they had a veggie burger, they told us they can prepare a delicious burger using their veggie samosa. Imagine our skepticism, and then our utter shock, when it turned out to be the most delicious spicy, saucy samosa burger we have ever sunk our teeth in!
