“I’m no stranger when it comes to Serbian food, since I have been to one Serbian restaurant and now 3 Serbian style cafés. The location can be easily missed if you don’t look closely, but it’s between J&C Modern Way Dry Cleaners and D’Pelos Salon. When you walk in, you order at the counter. They have 5 tables that you can sit at if you choose to dine in. I decided to go with some of their traditional bakery items like burek and mantije. I also ordered prosciutto cotto calzone. The owners were very nice and helpful. One of the owners offered me a piece of mantije to sample. Prices were extremely reasonable, they definitely give you a generous amount of food for your money.

-burek (meat) 5 - they have 3 different kinds, meat, cheese, and pizza. It had a flaky crust and the meat was very tender. If you have this for breakfast, it is filling but it’s good if you’re in a hurry.
-mantije (meat) 5 - kind of a miniature version of a burek but bite size. Crust is crunchy with a plentiful amount of meat in each piece. This was one portion.
-prosciutto cotto calzone 5 - you will have to be patient because it does take a little awhile to prepare and cook. I loved the big pieces of prosciutto and I like how the pesto just oozes out with each bite. The crust has a tasty, cheesy taste from the mozzarella.“

“I made an online order for 2 pastas and when my boyfriend brought the food home they didn’t add meatballs to the pasta. I called the restaurant and the guy who answered was extremely apologetic and super kind. I just wanted to write this review to praise this employee (we didn’t get his name, but he was working on Thursday May 1st around 4pm.) He went above and beyond and made sure to make it right. A burger joint in a strip mall doesn’t inspire confidence, but you walk into this cozy place, with attractive wall murals, and somehow you get the feeling that you’re in the right place. We were in a rush, so came here for a quick lunch - ordered the following: double cheeseburgers, peri peri burgers, veggie samosa burger (off menu) and mango habañero wings….and EVERYTHING was fantastic!!! The double cheeseburgers were juicy, and succulent, the peri peri grilled chicken burger was tender and saucy, the wings were absolutely delicious, crisp despite the mango habañeeo sauce which had the perfect level of sweet heat. Lastly, the veggie burger - so the menu has FANTASTIC samosas, so when we asked if they had a veggie burger, they told us they can prepare a delicious burger using their veggie samosa. Imagine our skepticism, and then our utter shock, when it turned out to be the most delicious spicy, saucy samosa burger we have ever sunk our teeth in! Overall, an excellent experience, but with all the personnel exuding immense warmth and gracious hospitality. Definitely coming here OVER and OVER again!!! Yum!“

“I’m always excited to try new places, a coworker recommended Nonnie’s for their Pizza, but I needed up ordering the buffalo wrap. I enjoyed the wrap served with hot fries.
My experience with the waiter was a bit off..almost like she was annoyed from the beginning (not by us, maybe by something that occurred prior to our arrival) we arrived shortly after opening time.

I was raised with please and thank you and no matter how much I showed my gratitude for being served- it seemed the response for acknowledgement was more of a mental shoulder shrug than a simple “you’re welcome”.

Either way- ORDER THE PIZZA!? lol
I will definitely be back for pizza and drinks at the bar!
You also get free warm ? French bread! That’s a first for me.

Side note: I still tipped. if you plan on eating out- plan on tipping a decent amount. The economy is hard on everyone.“

Small place, easily overlooked, but what you see is not what you get. Their Chicago style pizza is my all-time favourite. It easily rivals Giordanos and the other "big names".“
