“Located in Homewood, Rabid Brewing is a must see for craft beer lovers. The spacious taproom features ample seating, making it an ideal spot for both small gatherings and larger groups.
Rabid Brewing offers a selection of beers that highlight creativity and quality. I sampled “Azazel,” which boasts a bold hop profile balanced with citrus and pine notes. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone who appreciates a robust IPA. The “Manticore” was equally impressive—smooth and rich, with layers of chocolate and roasted malt that lingered beautifully.
What sets Rabid apart is their commitment to experimentation. The seasonal offerings are a treat, with unique flavors that reflect local ingredients. Don’t miss the “Ecto Gnome” sour—tart and refreshing, it’s perfect to during the fall to take you back to the fleeting summer days of months past.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to share insights about the brewing process and make recommendations.
In short, Rabid Brewing is a must-visit in Homewood. With excellent beers, a vibrant atmosphere, and a community-focused approach, it’s a spot you’ll want to return to again and again.“
“Six of us had the most flavorful experience tonight at the Homewood Brewing Company Restaurant on 4/9/26! Three of us had the crab cakes, two had a wonderful burger and the other had the meatloaf!! Each of us RAVED about all of these scrumptious dishes!! Then came the deserts - the MOST DELICIOUS BREAD PUDDING EVER!!! And an equally delicious strawberry cheese cake. WE WILL BE BACK!!“
“Their beer cheese soup is amazing! I had it at Gordon Ramseys place downtown and the soup here is better! It’s worth a trip just for that and the bread and better alone!“
“The atmosphere is great and the Beer are even better. The beer selection is awesome and being able to take some home is a bigger bonus! Worth the short trip off 1-94...
If you are into microbrews with both quality and character, then you have to try Three Floyds. People come from all over the world to sample their brews, and they have won several awards for different selections on tap here. The place is small, somewhat noisy and funky- with furniture similar to what I had in my apartment in college. The staff are outgoing-but make no mistake, there is a noted lack of push-up bras, fake tans and hair gel in THIS place. What you have here are knowledgeable locals who really know their beer, and good beer grub. If you sit on a bar stool- you might be educated about beer and the different brews on Saturdays you can tour of the brewer. 100% recommend!“
