The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. Surely it is a plus that Neat did their best.“

Really impressed by the selection of beer, wine, and whiskey. Before the Derby, they had three different bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I asked for a smell (it's not Jimmy John's, I know) and they obliged me without so much as a blink of the eye. Quite an impressive wine selection. “Atmosphere here is absolutely gorgeous. Service is phenomenal and exactly what you would expect from a French restaurant. Now food. For appetizer we got escargots and we loved it. Most amazing delicious tasty escargots we have ever eaten 5/5. We got wild mushroom soup and it is delicious. First time we found a place where mushroom soup tastes like mushroom soup 5/5. For mains we got Faroe island Salmon stuffed with crab meat which was good but not great 4/5. Then Chicken a la Kiev which was 4/5 as well. And Bison burger which was a surprise 3/5. For dessert we got vanilla ice cream 2/5, creme brûlée 3/5, ricotta and pistachio cake 4/5They do have a lot of wines to choose from, and the atmosphere is very ambient and relaxing. Usually food in here is great, but today was not a good day for them.“

Our mixologist, David, was super personable and well versed in his craft. He’s bringing experience from cocktail programs in the city to the burbs! From a business standpoint you made us feel unwelcome in an establishment where we spent money. Take the $60 2 top who complained over what we spent there tonight? At least pull one of us aside instead of making a grand announcement. Chad you’re a great and talented owner, but train your staff how to talk to people. Just tell us, dont make a scene.“

My coworker and I went to go check out the restaurant and Cindy and a gentleman greeted us as we walked in. Even asked if we had just called. This to me is how you treat your customers. As my coworker and I waited for our breakfast burritos the smell of the restaurant was amazing. Cindy also chatted the whole time we waited and explained how she preps and what all goes into their fresh food. Cindy is caring and very passionate about her food and customer service. “Found out about this brewery in Westmont and came to try a few beers. It's in a pretty hard to find location in some industrial area, the worst thing about it. Whiskey Hill is a funny name, as this place has beer, not whiskey. Oh well, what they have is still good. There's a pretty good selection including some hoppy and sours. A lot of breweries are in kind of strange areas. It's the case with this one. This is located on Vandustrial in a building it share with some offices and whatever. Lots of trucking companies around here. There's semis parked along the street. Anyway, the beers. It's about $6 a pour. It's not quite a pint but whatever. Even so, a pretty good price for a small brewery. Has many to choose from. Best was the 7 Mile Bridge. It's a Belgian Weisse with key lime, toasted coconut, and vanilla. A lot of lime flavor. This is almost like a sour to be honest. A pretty strong one at 7% ABV. There's not a whole lot on tap, but they manage to have quite a bit for a microbrewery to be honest. Get some beers on tap or take some of the cans to go. It's a small place but when it's warmer they have a patio. There's no food but sometimes there's food trucks.“

The sauce was so delicious and the pizza was cooked perfectly with a crisp! Definitely will go back and order again. Our first time trying the joint after seeing several great reviews, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The pizza lived up to the hype: Understatement. Thin, crispy, and delicious. The old fashioned was smoky and sweet; shockingly good for a brewery. My wife had a sour and I had a light beer as well. Great all around. We will be frequenting this establishment for the foreseeable future. Did I mention price range was incredibly reasonable? 5 stars: Understatement as well. “Stella's is a DANG GOOD restaurant. While it is located inside of Fox Bowl, this is NOT a bowling alley snack bar. “Food was great, had an egg and cheese crossaint, some spinach, avocado, mushroom, and cheese crepes, the house veggie burger, and crispy eggplant with polenta and goat cheese. The crepe came with only the cheese on the inside and other ingredients on top, and was more of a crispy rather than soft or spongy texture, so somewhat different than I had pictured but they were good. I'd order all of it again! Service was good and attentive. Food was a little slow to come out at times given that the place was pretty empty, but I wasn't in a hurry and was taking my own time, so I didn't mind that. Will definitely return!“

“I've been dining here and holding family parties here for 20+ years. the interior and patio are beautiful. the food is excellent and the prices are competitive. But the service is exemplary. We had a drink in the bar before dinner and the bartender was terrific. we booked a table on the patio and as we were being seated my elderly mother asked if we could sit inside and they immediately and happily accommodated our last minute change. our waitress was wonderful and patient with the two senior citizens dining with us. I cannot say enough great things about Jens. it is our go to for every family celebration and many dinners in between.“
