“First time ever at a CPK. I was invited for lunch and had relatively low expectations, expecting just another pizza place. But I was astonished at the excellent food quality, the delightful presentation and the superior service. I ordered a lunch special, a 7" wild mushroom pizza and a salad. When the salad arrived, my jaw dropped. It was a heaping bowl of salad, with the lettuce nicely chopped up and lots of stuff added in, absolutely scrumptious. It was anything but a 'side' salad. I sampled by wife's tomato soup and found it delightful, just the right amount of spice. and now I'll have trouble in the future trying to decide between the salad or the soup. The mushroom pizza was great ! And the server, Christopher, refilled my coffee cup 3 times before I declined a fourth. I can't remember the last time any server anywhere, kept my coffee cup filled. Deer Park is a drive and now I wish there was a CPK in Crystal Lake because I'd be a regular. 10 star review from me. A Great Value.“

“My wife planned my surprise 40th birthday at Region. From start to finish the night was perfect. The food was impeccable and very well cooked. The staff was amazing, extremely helpful and just pleasant throughout the entire night. Everything went perfect and i would recommend anyone to have their private event at Region.“

All three of us had the bottomless mimosa, which is only worth it if you drink three or more. I chose it because I wanted to try the different kinds of mimosas: oj, cranberry, and pineapple. Yum to them all. For my meal, I split the Veggie Fritatta and the Chiliquiles with my friend. I liked the chiliqiiles more (crunchy chips) than the fritatta (chunks of potato). The special: corn beef eggrolls were also really good. My other friend had the steak and cheese, which she loved. The amount given was just enough, and the prices were decent.“

The Italian ice was to die for, the watermelon one was so good it made crave more by the end of it.The beef was perfectly wet and the peppers were just right.The only reason I didn’t make it five stars was that the beef was missing cheese. If that was on it, it would’ve been perfect.“

“I love playing trivia at Hot Pockets on Mondays. Gabby is the best server, she always is checking in and making sure everything is okay! My cat (pencil) was stuck in a tree and she invented a flying device to grab him. In addition to this, she gave 50 orphans wheels of cheese out of the goodness of her heart!“

“Yummy! I was on a quest to find a true chicago style hotdog i and this place delivered! I always forget to take a picture before digging in! The hotdog was spot on! “No wake is great. The servers and bartenders are really friendly. The prices at this bar are always reasonable. I always enjoy the food when I visit. Atmosphere is fun too. This bar is popular but gets more crowded in the summer months. Located on the Fox River it's always fun to stop while boating. They also have gas for refueling boats. There are also a lot machines and there is outdoor seating in the summer months. I would highly recommend visiting no wake.“

“We had a girls dinner at Coopers Hawk and all was fantastic - the food, atmosphere and service. Our waitress Paula was amazing and just so sweet attentive. I ordered some appetizers to munch on. The drunken shrimp (came with 5) were good and crisp. the ‘over the border egg rolls’ were the best I have ever had! Two of the three dipping sauces it came with were dynamite! “Their gentleman’s spud was fantastic. A coating of crunchy shredded hash browns covers the omelet, giving it a distinctive look. The omelet has freshly cut onions, green peppers, and mushrooms along with well-seasoned steak. There is flavorful, gooey cheese in every bite because the cheese is well distributed.“

The coffee, however, tasted like it was on the burner too long. One of the pleasant features of coming to Egg Harbor was the flavor of the day coffee and we’re disappointed that they no longer carry that. The specialty coffees do not make up for that. It's a family restaurant, where the owner knows all his regular customers by name and the new ones he treats like he's known them for years as well. This restaurant has managed to stay in business while many of the others around it have closed. The food is well above your average family restaurant and the prices reflect that. This isn't fine dining as some like to compare it too. The staff works hard and many have worked there for 10-20 years. Customers come in and ask for specific servers due to the service and relationships built over the years. There are LOTS of customers who eat here daily or multiple times weekly!! The restaurant is always clean and has a beautiful banquet hall attached that has events going on almost daily. Many groups and organizations come in monthly and rent out the room. The soups, salads (create your own), pancakes, skirt steak, Athenian Chicken, wings and Chicken Mykonos (Wednesday night only) are some of my favorites.“
