“Great food, comfortable atmosphere, wonderful staff and an incredible chef! Have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner many times here and I’ve never had a bad meal! I recently hosted a dinner for a baby shower for my daughter in their side room. Had 14 people with a catered menu of chicken limone, beef tenderloin, gnocchi, salad, roasted potatoes, and grilled vegetables for a very reasonable price. The food was delicious and the service was superb. This is the second dinner like this that I have done here and it was amazing! Thank you Ms. Medina, Jose , Dorita, and Chef Jose!“

Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“Came here today (party of 6, with three small kids) and everything was wonderful. Very helpful staff, lovely restaurant, and delicious food. We were hoping to sit outside but the indoor ambience was lovely. All of our food was amazing and came out quickly. We had a hard time deciding on how to order food for two toddlers and the waitress stepped right in with suggestions and portion sizes. It really took the leg work out of ordering food and hoping it wouldn’t be too much/too little. This is such a welcome addition to the downtown Skokie area as there aren’t many decent brunch/lunch options so we will definitely be back and we hope Don Julio’s becomes a mainstay here!“

Not just pierogi ---Gelato, soups, empanadas, tamales, pizza pie (takes 50 mins to make from scratch and worth it!!) Premium Belgium chocolates, shakes, Coffee and most recent.....160 (yes one hundred and sixty) different premium teas from around the world!!.....and more to come! They also own the tea room and book store next to the cafe. Owners are THE BEST! Welcoming, personable and humorous. Dinning outside available and pups are welcome! We have ordered Corn Paloma’s, Mole Pisco Sour and Aphrodite multiple times and always hits the spot. For constructive improvement, it can be slow to order as there’s only one person taking orders. Maybe one order only kiosk or one more person could make it more efficient as folks are waiting in line for 10 minutes. I also appreciate the family atmosphere, but there will be times screaming children are right in the middle of where patrons are dining and relaxing. I would recommend a specified area for the kids a bit further away from the main patrons but I understand the constraints of the space (might make more sense to have the kids play area near the food truck). It’s right by all the shops in Oak Park and there’s usually paid parking or side street parking a block or so away. I recommend their matcha latte or a dark coffee. “I go to Cafe Mirage every time I visit Chicago, after it was recommended to me by friends who had already been there. In April and May this year, I was there several times. There is a nice atmosphere inside and especially outside. The hygiene is at a high level, the food is very tasty, and the staff is pleasant and kind. Drinks were good as well.I absolutely loved it . “After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “I would say that coming here is a good spot to get boba. It’s nice to enjoy it whenever you got a chance to get it. My go to would always be getting the chocolate oreo mocha with brown crystal boba. The girls at the counter are always working hard and I appreciate their effort to make my drink worth coming back for.“
