“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.“

“Maan this was a great find. I'm the East Coast and worked in New York City for years where halal and halal food trucks are really popular and this is tastes like some of the spots out there. “Love this place. I've been here a few times. The hot chicken sandwich, nachos, and fries are always great. This most recent visit I tried a double smashburger with smash peppers, spicy chopped cheese, and onion rings. The burger was probably the best smashburger I ever had, the beef and bun tasted really fresh, burger patties were crispy and seasoned, and the sauce went really well with it. The chopped cheese was really good, and onion rings were crispy, hot, and seasoned. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've had there is good.“

I was amazed at how much delicious flavor they packed into my burrito and philly steak.. definitely a top burrito joint in country, for me.. likr top 1 or 2.. im a truck driver, and have eaten at Mexican reataurants all over the country.. and this place will be on my to-do list, now, when Im in Chicago area. “We had an excellent dinner; chicken kebabs, beef lule kebabs, veggie noodles, and fried dumplings—all of which were delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the great experience. For dessert, we tried the honey cake (which seemed homemade) and an eclair—both were fantastic. “I had an amazing experience at Dua. I ordered a steak with a side of mashed potatoes and a drink. It was a meal to remember.

It’s hard to find good halal steak nowadays, especially at a good price.

The food was cooked perfectly to my liking and our server, Sam, was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated and was quite inviting.

If you’re looking for a place that delivers high-quality food with impeccable service, Dua is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu!“

“I just stopped in for lunch carryout, and I am beyond impressed. I picked up a chicken tikka masala rice bowl with a side of chicken samosas and sat down to eat -- the meal became the highlight of my work day.

The rice bowl came with more than enough food to bring some of it home to the family. I didn't offer any inputs on spice level or anything, and it came out with an excellent combination of proper heat and flavor; love was found in every spoon, and I can't wait to try more from their menu. The samosas are deliciously savory and have a nice crisp to them, and come with a sweet sauce that pairs very well. Their prices surprised me! ~$16 for enough food for two people!

“I had to order quite a bit of  food for a lunch for my family and I before we were supposed to be going to a wedding. We stayed at a hotel nearby and knew that we would not eat dinner until much later and needed something to hold us over. This place was the perfect option.
Not only was I able to get the prices over the phone, the people who work here texted me pictures of food, sent prices and confirmed sizes with me and gave recommendations about how much to get for how many people, including telling me how long before I needed to order to make sure I got my order ready in time for pick up since I was ordering in advance.
The Afghani palaou was fantastic, as was the garlic and spicy green sauce.
I especially loved the mix kabobs and I wish they had this option at all afghan/ pakistani places. The option to get a mix tray of kabobs with the pieces cut up would be a game changer for parties!
I ordered a small tray of salad thinking not many people would like it (but I like salad so I figured I would have leftovers for later), but to my surprise that was gobbled up quick! Everyone loved it. I'm a fan of this place and plan on dining in when I come next!“

“Tried the Tava Fish Fry, Chicken 65 Biryani, and Mysore Masala Dosa. All items were quite good overall. A couple of minor points: the biryani would benefit from a saalna or gravy accompaniment, and the masala coating on the tava fish fry felt slightly thick or caked on. Otherwise, enjoyable meal.“

“My husband and I enjoyed a delicious and authentic middle eastern meal this past weekend. The food was fresh and flavorful. The owner did the cooking and we even learned a few words of Arabic with his help! Shkran! The location is tricky to find as the restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Cumberland Avenue. We live in the northern suburbs, but were in the Norridge area on business. We might even travel to Bab al Salam for no reason at all! There is plenty of casual seating and many people stopped in for take out. Enjoy!“

The owner came over to our table and introduced himself and was very cordial and we had a smiling exchange. He came back again after we had a chance to sample our dinner to see that all was ok.
