i’ve seen potbellies all over the place, but I had never been to one until just now. I was not disappointed, it’s a nice little sandwich place but it’s got salads and other options too. I would definitely return, the decor was nice like an old New York deli, and even had outdoor seating, although it was too cold and rainy when we went. Easy parking.

I come here for lunch once a week and the sandwiches are good every time. All the negative reviews I’ve seen always has something to do with a third party (Uber eats, Door dash, etc).Skip all that ordering ahead, extra fees, and wrong orders and just show up to the storefront and you’ll get taken care of ??‍♀️it’s too many of you uptight and entitled a** people, so go to a fine dining establishment instead if you’re going to be so demanding. I give the Potbelly Sandwich Shop in downtown Des Plaines 5 stars. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I appreciate that I was able to get a hot warm sandwich to go, in a short amount of time. I ordered the "Wreck" which certainly is just like it says on the menu, a meat lover's Paradise. I appreciate they have lots and lots of crunchy chips to choose from including the Zapp's New Orleans style kettle potato chips.
