“Cream of mushroom soup is good. Home made soups are good. The breaded tenderloin sandwich with mashed potatoes was good. Showed up a bit weird though. The breaded tenderloin was on top of the bread with mashed potatoes and gravy to the side. The entire dish was then covered in brown gravy. There was no way possible to make a sandwich, but I cut it all up together and ate it as a mix. It was still good.“

“The food was fresh and piping hot as the waitress brought it out to everyone in my 5-person party. I had the meatlovers skillet. The meats were cooked to my liking, no uncooked bacon, and the potatoes were fully cooked to perfection. The eggs were cheesy and blended together easily in my skillet. The pancakes were fluffy and hot with my meal. The wait was semi long for table/booth, but the food didn't disappoint.“

“Went to lunch today with my son, ordered the special Lake Perch w/mac and cheese. When it came I took 2 bites of the perch and found it to be mushy and not cooked enough. Called the waitress and gave it back to her, she showed the boss and he said "I just had some and it was ok" when the bill came they made me pay for it,I told the boss I didnt eat it and sent it back but he just said I should have let them cook it longer. This is a terrible way to run a business , I will never go back there and hope anyone who reads this will stay away , hope I dont get sick from this.“

“I had never been in or even knew about Bob Evans. My wife made me come. I had breakfast. Started off with a very friendly and helpful hostess. Then a server took our order. Even better than the hostess and that's saying something. Tabitha took our order, helped me decide by giving great suggestions. Excellent choices. I ended up with a sausage biscuit with home fries, egg and gravy. It was good. Cooked just right. And did I tell you that I felt like home. I wish there was a Bob Evans in my state.“

“Food is usually pretty good here. Service during the day is good but if you go in late at night, just be prepared to wait 30+ minutes for your check or Togo boxes. Portion sizes are decent. Nice selection of desserts in the front. Bathrooms are taken care of pretty well.“

“I VISITED THIS LOCATION ON 06/15/24 WHEN IT FIRST OPENED. I DIDNT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS BECAUSE I WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE AT 7:05AM. THE PLACE WAS THE CLEAN, THE SERVER WAS NICE AND MY FOOD WAS PLENTIFUL FOR UNDER $20.00. “Nice hidden gem! The food was great, I tried the iced mazapán latte. Every meal comes with a sopa de fideo which in my opinion was very authentic. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Me and my husband sat outside the cafe , that too was also my favorite part it’s very cute and I enjoyed all the beautiful flowers that they have. Will definitely be back!“

“Far from the madding crowd of Chicago, we hit this restaurant on our way out of Chicago back to Pennsylvania. It was nice not to have to fight traffic/ parking in Chicago. And the food was excellent. I would highly recommend it if you're making an early break from the Windy City!“
