“Barrelman's Room is my go-to place on a Friday or Saturday night when I want delicious cocktails and cozy ambiance so I can actually talk to my friends & hear each other. It's usually pretty easy to get a table, the staff is helpful with recommendations and I love the "secret" feel of it. I recommend it to anyone who wants a night out without a long line or wait. You won't be disappointed!“

“We had a private 70th Birthday at the Downer’s Grove location last weekend The food (buffet) was great, and the service was top notch. Our server Rocky and his team were on top of every detail. Our 55 guests were taken care of like we were family. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for your events!“

“Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

“Wednesday visit first time ever, zero tension by employees (especially the security no metal detector search). $20 entry and also $20 for topless dance per song (cameras on the ceiling don't do ❄) security guy payed $20 outta pocket for the boxing arcade machine for the entertainment of guests. Overall you can do ❄ just avoid topless areas of the dancers in private room. No cops no drama 10 outta 10 for $$$ what you pay 🙌“

We group of 4 went Lunar Brewing couple of times 20 years ago, my brother and been talking about coming back. Today after leaving noisy,yuppy, pricy Yardhouse. We opted to Lunar, now I found new pub to spend our weekend chilly brewing after 30 years @ Brixies Saloon (Brookfield) which personally closed to me in 2017. I remember going here as a little girl with my grandma, my parents, and now as an adult, and it’s never diminished in quality or decreased in quaint coziness. The service is attentive, genuinely friendly, and assuringly knowledgeable. The atmosphere is that of an old world supper club from the past. The menu has plentiful options without being overwhelming. We plan to come back and bring guests, and have added this to our list of “Hidden Gems for Out of Town Visitors.”“

“This is a restaurant on a golf course, main entrance is on the main floor, restaurant is on the lower level. The restaurant has a nice cozy lodge feel to it. We were there to celebrate someone's birthday. I had the Chicken Bacon Caesar wrap, with a dollar extra for sweet potato fries, definitely worth it. They were just ever so slightly over done but still great.The sandwich was really good, filled with lots of chicken and I ordered dressing on the side. Our party also ordered a half Caesar salad with chicken, (more than enough for a filling lunch), Buffalo chicken salad, that I am told is very tasty, and a mushroom burger that was huge,( again she said that was fantastic)! For desert we had orange sherbet , very good and creamy, wish there wasn't so much food coloring, I don't like neon colored food, cheesecake, salted caramel gelato, and a complimentary cookie sundae for the birthday girl. We were all very happy with our choices. I'd highly recommend this place and definitely will be back again. Lots more interesting things on the menu to try.“

“The decor is STUNNING and there are 2 tables large enough for big groups. I really loved the ambiance and decor. The menu had a lot of reasonably priced options for food as well. 4 stars because one of our old fashioneds was served with a vibrant red cherry that had a pit in it. So it wasn’t the usual luxardo cherry that I am used to having.
I also love that there is an overwalk that connects you to Santo Cielo.“
