“The bartender was really helpful and friendly. Even with a full bar, he took his time to make some recommendations and gave me his full attention while talking to me. The beer selection is really good. They also have beer available for sale.
Just a note, they don’t currently sell food. Drinks only.“
“Barrelman's Room is my go-to place on a Friday or Saturday night when I want delicious cocktails and cozy ambiance so I can actually talk to my friends & hear each other. It's usually pretty easy to get a table, the staff is helpful with recommendations and I love the "secret" feel of it. I recommend it to anyone who wants a night out without a long line or wait. You won't be disappointed!“

“I had my wedding shower here in their private section of the restaurant. We had around 45 guests and it was amazing. The staff were amazing, especially Andrea and Tricia, the food was great and the bloody Mary’s were so tasty! Highly recommend having your private event here!“

“We had a private 70th Birthday at the Downer’s Grove location last weekend The food (buffet) was great, and the service was top notch. Our server Rocky and his team were on top of every detail. Our 55 guests were taken care of like we were family. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for your events!“

“I absolutely love Nels! My favorite bar in the DuPage area by far. It feels like the hometown Cheers. Everybody knows everybody, everyone is welcoming. It’s friendly and a great place to meet people. Or bring a group of friends. Ashley who Bartends on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays has really made this place welcoming to all. The karaoke is super fun on Friday and Saturday nights. Drink prices are the most reasonable around. Highly recommend! It is become our regular spot on the weekends and for a weekday nightcap! The crowd is all ages from 20s all the way to 70+.“

“From the moment I walked in. Jack was there to help me get tables together for a party of 10. we had a wonderful time but even better was the service. the food was good. the drinks were great but the service was immaculate! “Wednesday visit first time ever, zero tension by employees (especially the security no metal detector search). $20 entry and also $20 for topless dance per song (cameras on the ceiling don't do ❄) security guy payed $20 outta pocket for the boxing arcade machine for the entertainment of guests. Overall you can do ❄ just avoid topless areas of the dancers in private room. No cops no drama 10 outta 10 for $$$ what you pay 🙌“

“Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.
We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.
We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

“We recently saw Nonsense here. The show was great. The set was designed well. The seats were comfortable, but being short, it was a good thing no one sat in front of us, or it would have been difficult to see. This is a beautiful theatre, and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. My only complaint is that I do think tickets are overpriced. They're charging the same prices as downtown shows, and the theatre is not worth the price.“

“5 stars for HECTOR in Western Springs!!! Hands down this was the absolute best dining experience I’ve ever had! While the food was delicious and the overall ambiance and decor of the restaurant was cozy, it was our server that made this dining experience over the top, great! HECTOR, you are a gem, a diamond! You have an absolutely charming personality and made my mother in law’s birthday dinner an experience to remember! From your spot on suggestions, to your lovely rendition of “Happy Birthday”, to the funny banter, our whole family left talking about how wonderful you were! “12/3/25 night Brother from Texas and me. Fantastic Bar, best small town drinking place, “Great” Selections. Scott the Bartender is very personable/funny almost like someone I would hang out with. We group of 4 went Lunar Brewing couple of times 20 years ago, my brother and been talking about coming back. Today after leaving noisy,yuppy, pricy Yardhouse. We opted to Lunar, now I found new pub to spend our weekend chilly brewing after 30 years @ Brixies Saloon (Brookfield) which personally closed to me in 2017. I reside in Romeoville/ Plainfield since 2004. Nothing out there, Really“

“Had a burger and it was just ok. It comes open face and I couldn’t get the bread unstuck to make it a sandwich. Asked for blue cheese olives in my Bloody Mary and I got one. Really?!? Couldn’t get refills on my water. The waitress disappeared till it was check time and then she came over. It was very busy though.“

“This is a restaurant on a golf course, main entrance is on the main floor, restaurant is on the lower level. The restaurant has a nice cozy lodge feel to it. We were there to celebrate someone's birthday. I had the Chicken Bacon Caesar wrap, with a dollar extra for sweet potato fries, definitely worth it. They were just ever so slightly over done but still great.The sandwich was really good, filled with lots of chicken and I ordered dressing on the side. Our party also ordered a half Caesar salad with chicken, (more than enough for a filling lunch), Buffalo chicken salad, that I am told is very tasty, and a mushroom burger that was huge,( again she said that was fantastic)! For desert we had orange sherbet , very good and creamy, wish there wasn't so much food coloring, I don't like neon colored food, cheesecake, salted caramel gelato, and a complimentary cookie sundae for the birthday girl. We were all very happy with our choices. I'd highly recommend this place and definitely will be back again. Lots more interesting things on the menu to try.“

“I had a fantastic experience at Kona Grill, and a big part of that was thanks to Ivan. From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly.
Ivan went above and beyond to check in on us without ever being intrusive, and his positive attitude really elevated the whole dining experience. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and professional at the same time.
If you’re dining at Kona Grill, I highly recommend asking for Ivan...you won’t be disappointed!“

“I hired B'n Chingon for a party recently and they provided superior service and absolutely delicious food. The set up, cooking, serving and clean up were seamless.
