“12/3/25 night Brother from Texas and me. Fantastic Bar, best small town drinking place, “Great” Selections. Scott the Bartender is very personable/funny almost like someone I would hang out with. We group of 4 went Lunar Brewing couple of times 20 years ago, my brother and been talking about coming back. Today after leaving noisy,yuppy, pricy Yardhouse. We opted to Lunar, now I found new pub to spend our weekend chilly brewing after 30 years @ Brixies Saloon (Brookfield) which personally closed to me in 2017. I reside in Romeoville/ Plainfield since 2004. Nothing out there, Really“

“My daughter and son in law invited us to their regular watering hole since we were visiting from out of town.
Dee was an excellent bar tender and made sure we never went dry. I didn't get a chance to try the food but it was a fun environment and atmosphere.“

I came in randomly and let me tell you I would bathe in the avocado hot sauce, while sipping the sex on the beach! The cilantro was perfectly chopped and the homemade tortillas, mouth watering. “I absolutely love Nels! My favorite bar in the DuPage area by far. It feels like the hometown Cheers. Everybody knows everybody, everyone is welcoming. It’s friendly and a great place to meet people. Or bring a group of friends. Ashley who Bartends on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays has really made this place welcoming to all. The karaoke is super fun on Friday and Saturday nights. Drink prices are the most reasonable around. Highly recommend! It is become our regular spot on the weekends and for a weekday nightcap! The crowd is all ages from 20s all the way to 70+.“

“Wednesday visit first time ever, zero tension by employees (especially the security no metal detector search). $20 entry and also $20 for topless dance per song (cameras on the ceiling don't do ❄) security guy payed $20 outta pocket for the boxing arcade machine for the entertainment of guests. Overall you can do ❄ just avoid topless areas of the dancers in private room. No cops no drama 10 outta 10 for $$$ what you pay 🙌“

While the food was delicious and the overall ambiance and decor of the restaurant was cozy, it was our server that made this dining experience over the top, great! HECTOR, you are a gem, a diamond! You have an absolutely charming personality and made my mother in law’s birthday dinner an experience to remember! From your spot on suggestions, to your lovely rendition of “Happy Birthday”, to the funny banter, our whole family left talking about how wonderful you were! “The bartender was really helpful and friendly. Even with a full bar, he took his time to make some recommendations and gave me his full attention while talking to me. The beer selection is really good. They also have beer available for sale.

“Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

“Had a burger and it was just ok. It comes open face and I couldn’t get the bread unstuck to make it a sandwich. Asked for blue cheese olives in my Bloody Mary and I got one. Really?!? Couldn’t get refills on my water. The waitress disappeared till it was check time and then she came over. It was very busy though.“

“I had a fantastic experience at Kona Grill, and a big part of that was thanks to Ivan. From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly.

Ivan went above and beyond to check in on us without ever being intrusive, and his positive attitude really elevated the whole dining experience. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and professional at the same time.
