I placed a to-go order and it came out quickly and 100% accurate. It was delicious, hot, and well proportioned. The sauce on one of the honey bourbon chicken sandwiches was great.For a Friday night, the dine-in area was dead (and partially dark), but the staff was friendly and welcoming.I would definitely eat here again. “What a great bottle shop! I came to this shop specifically for a couple styles that were in stock as well as to pick up some Oktoberfest styles from breweries not available in my area. Really friendly proprietor with a clearly marked bottle selection. Prices were actually impressive! I've been to other bottle shops that were smaller and far more expensive. Enjoyed a tap at the bar as well. It was early on a Tuesday, so pretty quiet. I am sure the weekends get crazy. I even lucked into a parking spot right out front!“

“Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

“I absolutely love Nels! My favorite bar in the DuPage area by far. It feels like the hometown Cheers. Everybody knows everybody, everyone is welcoming. It’s friendly and a great place to meet people. Or bring a group of friends. Ashley who Bartends on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays has really made this place welcoming to all. The karaoke is super fun on Friday and Saturday nights. Drink prices are the most reasonable around. Highly recommend! It is become our regular spot on the weekends and for a weekday nightcap! The crowd is all ages from 20s all the way to 70+.“

We opted to Lunar, now I found new pub to spend our weekend chilly brewing after 30 years @ Brixies Saloon (Brookfield) which personally closed to me in 2017.
