“Sushi City is by far my favorite sushi restaurant. I have been coming here for years and the place only has gotten better. They just completed their third remodel. Now the restaurant has a super sleek and modern aesthetic. They also increased the number of booth seats they have.

This is an all you can eat (AYCE) sushi restaurant and their selection is huge. You get the usual appetizers, nigiri, and basic maki rolls that you would expect from a AYCE sushi restaurant, but this place gives you more! They have always allowed you to order their specialty rolls (their best roll being the torched dragon roll), but they recently added carpaccio plates, ramen, and dessert. Their prices have gone up over time, but I still consider them a great value for everything that they offer you.

And it is not just about quantity and variety. This restaurant upholds its quality. Other AYCE sushi restaurants give you lower quality fish and hide it by smothering it under lots of heavy sauces. But at Sushi City you can taste the quality of their fish (just order a salmon or tuna nigiri and taste how fresh it is).

The wait staff also is amazing. They are super prompt with everything. This place used to have a robot that served the appetizers. It was a fun novelty. The robot disappeared after the last renovation. Hopefully it will come back some day..

I hesitated to write this review since my home town is Downers Grove and this place is pretty well known to those in DG. However, you should know this place is amazing. The evidence of this is that it is the only surviving store front on that side of the strip mall they are located and another AYCE sushi restaurant (that is a fairly well known chain) that used to compete with them on 75th street closed down awhile ago. I love it at Sushi City and hopefully you will too.“

“well I had the pleasure to work here today, and even though it was court related I am so wanting and willing to help again on my own! its amazing that there are places and people who are out here in the world that we live in that care so much for others when mostly the people we have in our lives don't bother to try. “Well put together deep dish. Average cost for a 14’ at around $50 with 2 toppings and extra cheese.

Sausage toppings are chunky and taste like quality cuts. It has a good ratio that holds the sauce and toppings from sliding. Might be the ‘extra cheese’ I ordered, but all around good proportional pizza.
The bottom crust has a fluffy butter feel. the end crust taste a bit doughier than I’ve had.

“We had a private 70th Birthday at the Downer’s Grove location last weekend The food (buffet) was great, and the service was top notch. Our server Rocky and his team were on top of every detail. Our 55 guests were taken care of like we were family. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for your events!“

“First visit to Angelo's Pizza, got a Chicago thin with pepperoni, hamburger, pepperoncini, and garlic...best pizza I've ever had, and I've been to numerous Chicagoland and east coast parlors. This will now be a mandatory stop each time I visit Chicago, and the free parking garage with ample space virtually next door makes this an easy choice. “Okay so a friend and I tried this place out on a whim. When I tell you this was one of the BEST pizzas I’ve ever had in my life.

We were initially unsure of what to get, but the cashier let us know about the pizza size options and we each ended up getting a personal pizza where you can get three toppings on the pizza plus the sauce for a total of seven dollars. I got a three meat pizza that had a pepperoni, sausage, and bacon with the jalapeño ranch sauce, and it was so good. Everything was cooked to perfection!

I loved the crust. It was thick and fluffy. The cheese was so good and perfectly melted with the perfect amount of cheese pulls, the toppings were nice and crisp and it was the perfect amount of sauce on the pizza. When I tell you, this is probably the best pizza I’ve ever had in my whole life. 🍕

All the employees were so nice, friendly and welcoming. The lobby and eating area was also super clean! Thank you all for such an amazing experience, and I hope to be back soon! 🫶🏾“

“I seriously love this place — Los Burritos never disappoints. The steak tacos are my absolute favorite: flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. It’s a little on the expensive side, but the quality makes it worth it. This is actual Mexican food, not some watered-down “white people” version — it tastes authentic and legit every time. Most of the staff mainly speak Spanish, so there’s a slight language barrier, but they’re incredibly sweet and always make sure the order is right. It’s one of my favorite spots and I’ll keep going back as long as they’re around.“

“It was pretty good. Food was the saving grace. Was with a large group of over 8 people, so gratuity was automatically added, and they refused to do separate checks. Since it was 3 families. Since the gratuity was already included, the service was average at best. Also, advertise a rewards program but no way to gain rewards since POS system is not set up for it.

“I recently started working for the Village of Downers and asked my supervisor for a good chicken salad spot. He recommended Mr. Submarine on Odgen, so I decided to try it out. When I went there around 6 p.m., the night crew was fantastic—professional, quick, and friendly. The salad was just perfect! I’ve been visiting every other day for their salads, and I honestly give the staff a five-star rating — they’re the best! I’ll be stopping by again this Friday to get another salad.“
