“Yesterday The Family and I went a tried a new eatery by The Grove. The Bootleggin’s . If you like Burnt Ends. It was the Best we ever had. They were soooo Ono delicious. Broke da Mouth with every bite. Wings were Biggins, moist inside & Crispy outside. Done Da Right way. The Penrose disco fries were sick with deliciousness. The staff was very Engaging and friendly. All burgers were on target. I had the pleasure to talk with and learn the story of one of the owners named Brenton. Thank you for your time answering our questions. I’m going to give a 4.5 out of 5 Coconuts 🥥 falling out the Coconut 🌴 tree. Only thing I dislike was how low the urinal was in the men’s bathroom. “FINALLY! Somewhere in St. Louis knows how to make a burger right. This is seriously the best burger and fries the city has to offer, and their menu is appropriately priced. I was also pleasantly surprised they carry Delirium Tremens. They have a super laid back atmosphere to boot - play some pool while you're there! Definitely don't sleep on The Drawing Board.“

“Heading out tonight and decided to finally check it out. The appetizers of breaded cauliflower was absolutely delicious as well as the boneless wings. Our main entrees were also fantastic. The fried chicken and bourbon glazed chicken sandwich was not just tasty, but HOT! I think I also had the BEST fries in a long time. The green beans and potato salad was on point as well. The wait staff was terrific and it was a relaxed non rushed meal. The appetizers were perfectly spaced apart from main course. We will most definitely be going back. Portions were large( brought a lot of food home) and prices were really good. I am so happy to finally see a business in this space taking off and always busy. The atmosphere was inviting, family side and a bar side. I’m excited to know they have a party space. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

Each evening Jennie K was our bartender and needless to say she’s AMAZING! Her drink knowledge and bubbly personality is a quality trait hard to find these days. She’ll dazzle you with her knowledge of Triple Sec! Highly recommend you stop in here if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back.“
