“Came here over the weekend for 76th Street concert! 🎶 The show was amazing and what a great venue! It was the perfect weather out on the patio and plenty of nice tables with comfy chairs to sit at.
It was a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the drinks were affordable. The bar was cash only.
Definitely a gem in St. Louis ✨

“I’ve been coming to grizzly bear for years with friends and family. I love the atmosphere inside and outside. The historical building is absolutely gorgeous. Marie was mine and my sisters bartender and she was so sweet and attentive. Absolutely love her! 10/10 definitely recommend. The wings are delicious and I love playing darts in the front room. Never a dull moment at the grizzly bear.“

Owner uses top notch quality ingredients. He and his staff does it like some of the best pizzarias in the world (including NYC) - from high quality mozzarella- to hand tossed pizzas, they even have a hot pizza stone oven for those Neapolitan style or NYC style crust with that lovely gold brown and slight char- if you are in the area I would HIGHLY advise to check it out- you haven't had a good pizza pie in illinois until you have been here- Ive reviewed numerous dozens of pizzarias in my life and this spot with its small kitchen are one of the top 10#.“

“Visited during the 2026 St. Louis Tionól to watch and listen to sessions performed by the musicians from that event. What an outstanding experience it was. So much outstanding music in almost every corner you went to. Had the bangers and mash since ai was there over lunch and it was excellent. Definitely recommend this place for an authentic Irish pub experience.“

“We descended on the HandleBar as a large group of remote coworkers gathering for our annual retreat. We sang, dreams, and ate, and an excellent time was had by all! Karaoke was so much fun, and we got the whole company up to sing Friends in Low Places, and added other singers who were hanging out, too. The vibe was great, the bartender was helpful and kind. “I saw the best mime show of my life at Venice Cafe and that’s saying a lot because, as everyone who knows me knows, I am a mime show connoisseur. My favorite part of the show was the dragons that they slipped through the tear in the space/time continuum. Highly recommended bringing cash as the ATM works when it hasn’t been cursed by the Witch of the Woods but she’s been on a tear lately and they’re still working on the protection spell.“

“Probably the best roast beef sandwich I have ever had. Nowhere else ever asks how you want it cooked. And the answer is medium rare. Our service was also very nice and attentive. We stopped in for the first time on the way to a concert and this will be one of our places we frequent in the city when we come up from home in Farmington. Only thing I would say is I would turn the lighting up just a tad. I know pubs are supposed to be a little dark and have a warm feeling but some people (me) don’t have great eyesight and I found it a bit difficult to see and read the menu. Never the less we enjoyed our food very much and will be in again soon. Hopefully more than once“

I truly enjoy the lgbtq+/ all-inclusive atmosphere they provide. The music is always top notch, the staff is extremely friendly and quick to serve! They also have a super cute patio and open-air garage area, giving patrons a variety of areas to hang, dance or socialize. They also host some really unique, fun and exciting events that Ive thoroughly enjoyed attending or vending with my business. This Bar is definitely a hidden GEM in St. Louis!“

Wheelchair assessable, inside is non smoking with a covered smoking area and plenty of seating. They also have pool tables and slot machines and free popcorn. One other thing their Hotwings are the bomb with their special sauce. Not to hot but hot enough to have one of their ice cold beers to wash it down and ready for another bite.“

“Great food, drinks, and prices that are hard to beat! We especially love the burgers and pretzel bites. They also have slot machines, pool tables, and plenty of other bar games to keep you entertained.
The atmosphere is always welcoming, the service is great, and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoy it so much that we've made it a weekly stop. Definitely recommend checking this place out!“

“Stayed in Air BnB across the street awhile back for the wwe Royal Rumble. My brother and I ate here everyday, drank here at night. Laid back atmosphere. I wanted to purchase a shirt and they didn’t have my size, owner went out of his way to go dig and find me one. 10/10 recommend.“

“I have always wanted to stop in this place. I drive by it all the time finally about three weeks ago me and a group of my friends stopped in and we had a really good time. I own a bar as well on South Broadway. This is a nice little getaway place for me. Haven’t been there in a couple weeks, but I’m definitely coming back.“

“What a cool spot! We saw live Ragtime Jazz (they have live music just about every night) and ate some delicious pesto and prosciutto pizza. Everything came out hot and fresh and the server was especially sweet. Love the punk elements and artwork incorporated into the bar’s environment, it’s definitely LGBT friendly and leftist-oriented :)“

“Attended a Welcome Party for a wedding here with my toddler, newborn and husband. I was relieved they had an elevator to bring my stroller upstairs where the party was. There was plenty of room, bathrooms were clean, and there was even arcade games my toddler could pretend to play to keep her busy.“

“Absolutely great local bar! The food was incredible! I had the house made chicken strips and THEY WERE THE BERY BEST IN TOWN!!! The beers were cold. The music was cool. And most importantly, Tara was a bright sunshine of fun that tied everything together! We found out about the shuttle to and from the Blues game and are planning our next trip around Big Daddy’s and the BLUUUUUES!!!“

“Molly’s is finally serving food, and we were so excited to try it!
We ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich, Gumbo Bowl, and Garlic Parmesan Buffalo Wings, and OMG!
The Fried Chicken Sandwich was delicious! It had the perfect little kick without being overwhelmingly spicy.
The Gumbo Bowl has a lot of potential but could use a little work. The shrimp were seasoned perfectly, and the rice was cooked just right. However, the gumbo itself was lacking some depth of flavor. It definitely had heat, but spicy doesn’t always mean flavorful. With a little tweaking, this could be an amazing dish!
Now, the Garlic Parmesan Buffalo Wings? WOW! I had never even heard of that flavor combination before, but it absolutely works! The balance of garlic, parmesan, and buffalo was incredible. Easily my new favorite wings!
Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and are so happy to see Molly’s serving food again! We can’t wait to come back and see what they have in store once the full menu is available!“

“Lillie is hands down one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. From the second we sat down, she brought such a fun, welcoming energy to the table. She’s truly a whole vibe — upbeat, attentive, and effortlessly cool while still being completely on top of everything.
Even when the bar was busy, she made sure our drinks stayed full, our food came out smoothly, and we never felt forgotten. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it shows in how she takes care of her guests.

“Love Carson’s! Karaoke bars are so fun. The drinks are cold and it’s always a good time.
That being said, this bar desperately needs to invest in acoustic sound absorbing panels in the main bar and side party room. The sound was bouncing around and everyone had to yell to be heard, way before the karaoke started. My family is in the bar business and sound panels made my family’s bar so much more enjoyable. They’re not that expensive and it will change the experience in there. Unsolicited advice I know, but I had to share. Thank you for hosting us!“

“I’m going to give this place four stars only because the food has went down from its glory time. I’ll chuck that out too Covid. I paid $15 for chicken 7 wings… Very small actually, possibly switched chicken . Not sure.Now the review of the club:If you’re visiting St. Louis and want a good night out, venture about 6 minutes across the bridge.This club caters to a 30 and up mature black crowd. It has its moments of being in East St. Louis, but it’s a good spot to have a good time.It’s classic old school vibes with small chairs and tables with mirrors across the walls. Good priced cocktails and stays open until about 4 am.“
