“OMG! How is no one talking about this place very good quality and price. I got here on national chicken sandwich day so they are charging 9.99 as a special price for combos but the regular price isn’t that bad at 12.99. Whatever the price it’s so worth it. The chicken is very crispy and tender juicy. I ate my meal and ordered more to go lol. They have many flavors and spices to choose from and it’s better than any other place I can remember going to.

“Tonight I decided to venture out and try this restaurant my family has been RAVING about called Al’s Cafe in Downtown Elgin! I sat upstairs and had this lovely server named Marcie! She recommended the monthly special called “Moonstruck” and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The ambience, service and food is unmatched! If you are looking for a great night out I highly recommend Al’s Cafe!”

“Do not be fooled that this hidden gem is located at a gas station! A group of us were randomly in the area and used google to look for a place to eat when we found Mr. Cesar’s restaurant. The food was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had! Mr. Cesar was super friendly even though we came in with a large group when they were near closing. We came back a second time on the way back from Rockford because I was craving it. The tacos (I love the chicharron tacos), the pozole and the mole chicken were some of the best I’ve had. We’re far up north and don’t live near, but will make it everytime we have to go out to Rockford (for sports cards shows). Thanks Mr. Cesar and your chefs for making such great food and to you for being so hardworking and hospitable. See you soon!”

“I hardly believe this, but I left today and they forgot to include my coleslaw. I got home and called to mention it. I was told they'd bring the coleslaws to me. I thought it was a joke, like doctors making house calls. Sure enough, they came to my door with the coleslaws, an extra, and a pint of blueberry cheesecake. Unbelievable! I've gone there since they opened. Now I won't go anywhere else. Caring about customers isn't lost! Wonderful people!”

“I'm vegan, and I got delivery from here on a whim, because they had vegetarian options and I wanted to try a new place. I'm always reassured when a menu has labeled vegan items, so I figured this was a safe gamble. I got the eggplant garlic sauce and it was one of the best eggplant dishes I've ever had. The salt and pepper tofu wasn't what I was expecting, but it was also super delicious. The vegan pho was fine, but I'm not a big pho person to begin with. Plus, the portions are quite generous so I can nibble on it for a few days!”

It's up there in price but you do get full. I would like if they had more advertising or anything to let you know it's a ghost menu. I drove around a few times because it was a pizza joint and couldn't see any signs of Mr beast burgers. I will be back but I hope Mr beast makes these adjustments.”
