Dunkin' Donuts in Elgin

“This is the Dunkin' I have been going for a while and I love it. I always stop by before I head to the Metra for school and even when I don't have school I still make effort to stop by because they treat me so well. One employee Irma always treats me very nicely and with respect and she always knows my order by memory. Best Dunkin' in Elgin!“

“This is the best Dunkin' Donuts I have been to. First, the way they make my coffee/food puts a smile on my face all day long. The staff knows you by your voice at the drive-through, and from your voice, ask me if I want items that I've ordered in the past. A manager is supposed to be a leader a teacher and that is something she is this manager works in the morning around 6:00 6:30 in the morning and she has the store running like a well-oiled machine. The thing is, she does it without yelling or disciplining her employees in front of customers she does it by using positive reinforcement. She is one of the best managers I've seen in retail ever. You can tell how great a manager is when the employees give great service if she is at the store or not, and these employees are just like that. They are great and very respectful. They also are always quick to fix your order if it is not correct, no argument, they just fix it. It used to be that was the standard unfortunately places like this are far and few between. The store is always clean, EVEN the bathrooms, shocking, I know. They make sure that the dining area is wiped down constantly. Even if nobody has sat there for a few, they still will wipe it down every half an hour. If someone has been eating in, they clean the area right after they have left. Oh, I know that you probably hate it just as much as I do when you walk into a dirty store. Floors and surfaces are disgusting sticky dirty gross all around. HERE, floors are clean, displays are clean, and items on display shelves are clean!!!!! I love this place.5 kisses from me ?????

Parking: The parking is right in front of the store they have spots to park surrounding the whole store

Kid-friendliness: The employees always make sure the kids get to participate in the ordering process. It makes them feel like a adult.

Wheelchair accessibility: The parking sidewalks and doors are all wheelchair accessible. Inside the bathroom is also wheelchair accessible and there is enough room for a wheelchair to easily move around“

“I recently visited Dunkin’ Donuts and ordered a regular coffee with cream and a hot chocolate. The coffee was great—smooth and just the right balance of flavor. The hot chocolate was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was still drinkable. The shop was spotless, and the service was prompt with minimal wait time. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. “*Update Nov 2023Started going back to Dunkin recently as I work from home and live close by. The employees now are generally a lot better than they've ever been in the past.They now have employees outside to expedite the line experience during busy hours which is great! Employees in drive thru are now pleasant and quick to fulfill order correctly.Today I went and the people working drive thru were so sweet and offered tons of free samples for the new seasonal items. Was a Greta experience and I will def be back.-----Place is SUPER busy in the mornings/weekends and the parking lot is too small to meet the demand, which causes issues since it's off a busy road. Even when using mobile app to order, I'm constantly having issues where I discover items are missing from order, long wait times, or situations where I'm actually getting a HOT coffee that is luke warm or even sometimes completely cold. Cold food or food that doesn't taste fresh, burnt Bagels... I could go on and on. Honestly the only reason I go here at all is because it's 4 mins from my house and it's on the way to the expressway.“

“Ever since they've moved locations the quality of the food and service has gotten a lot better. The woman who used to angrily yell at all the employees, either stopped doing that or doesn't work there anymore. I use the app frequently to order and pick up my food. I also appreciate not being lectured on my sugary coffees, so I changed my rating to reflect the better service they provide now.“

“Thank you to Diane, for always going above and beyond. It’s been very stressful now trying to manage the new Covid landscape; she makes sure there’s only enough people in the actual Dunkin store, while managing customer orders as well as the drive-through. I can’t imagine how stressful this must be, but she keeps a smile on her face while taking everyone’s order and does it very exceptionally. I highly recommend this location. “This isn't my closest Dunkin Donuts but I normally stop here anytime I have to be in Elgin in the morning. I didn't have the same experiences other reviews say they had. The drive thru line was always empty and my order was always taken immediately. I've never had an order messed up and have always been greeted by a polite employee.“

“I've had mixed experiences here. Sometimes the workers can be a bit rude. They've been cold or have made weird comments to my friends. Other times the workers are great and so is the service. Wouldn't be my go to Dunkin'“
