“We decided to come since it was one of the few boba tea shops nearby to Carol Stream. Inside it looked clean and organized. I got the brown sugar lava milk with coconut pudding. (The one on the left). We didn’t sit down and drink since it looked like the other tables were occupied. Prices were reasonable for medium and large. I didn’t see an option but you can request to have it less sweet like 50%. I think at 100% it was too sugary for me. Still, quality is good and the service was very friendly. Parking was easy since it’s in a shared parking lot.“

“Having recently moved near the area, I finally decided to check this place out. I absolutely love trying new boba shops, and I am thrilled that this one is so close by. Great atmosphere with cute decorations and plenty of seating. There was only one worker behind the counter at the time who greeted me as soon as I walked in. She was so sweet and made my drink very quickly.

As for the boba itself… it’s great! I got a brown sugar boba milk tea which I was glad to know was non-dairy (despite my love for all things dairy, I am lactose-intolerant. Booooo). The milk tea itself was great. For a brown sugar drink, it wasn’t too sweet at all, which I liked as I usually get my drinks with less sweetness. However, the tapioca was a little hard, a result of it either sitting out for too long or being chilled. I’m sure it would’ve been a thousand percent better with the tapioca’s real chewy texture, but I suppose I can’t complain since I walked in on a slow Wednesday afternoon.

Great shop overall, and I surely will be a regular!

“This has got to be one of the best places to get Boba Tea in the Chicago area. They have a lot of different selections of drinks from brown sugar Boba all the way to Vietnamese iced coffee. You're looking at $7 a drink like the other Boba Tea shops, but they make their drinks better. You even get a reusable glass cup to use again, and get a 10% discount on your next visit. “Love this spot, I’ve gotten the Ube Matcha twice (50% sugar) and it’s been amazing each time. Love the sealed cans it comes in, and the sweet treats are nice too but the drinks definitely shine. I got the ube mochi donut, and matcha bao both were good but I likely wouldn’t get them again. Though there are plenty of other treats on the menu I want to try.“

“Amazing gem in Bloomingdale. The menu has many choices including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose free, and for us carnivores. Drink menu has sake, handcrafted beer, wines, cocktails, bottled beer, teasing, bubble teas and more. We started with egg rolls and pancake scallion bites. They provide four sauces! My favorite is the chili oil, but there is also ginger, Wasabi and sweet sauce. All made in house. Entrees were sesame peanut noodles and Mongolian beef. So good. We will be back.“

“This past October marked the very first time trying here and was very pleased at the quality of the boba here.

We were getting ready to leave Mitsuwa and my older son naturally wanted bubble tea for dessert but the line for the boba store in the famed grocery store was backed up so I mentioned that we could explore elsewhere.

So glad we discovered this gem, the bubble tea is delicious here and my son always puts on a smile when he gets his Taro; that's the ONLY flavor he's ever drank since he was nearly 3 years old.

We don't live around this area but if ever wandering the area again, Ding Tea will be definitely be a go-to spot for quality boba!“
