“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.“

“This place is unreal -- especially for someone gluten free. I went in knowing zero about Burmese cuisine, but was walked through a series of dishes that have become instant classics that I crave: tofu gyaw, the tea salad, kyarzan thoke, chicken mango, and the goat curry. Do not sleep on this place! The food is fresh and meticulously prepared. The flavors are incredible and the portions filling. The staff are warm and engaging. 10/10 across the board.“

“I’ve been to this restaurant many times. Their food is amazing (I highly recommend all of their noodles and beef dished), but be aware that the service can be less satisfying for larger groups. They try to serve the food warm, but this means the dishes don’t always come out together. There’s also an 18% party-size fee.“

“We stopped here on a whim while we waited for a tire repair at the local Firestone. Super friendly staff. Lots of customers coming in to place orders. My husband daughter ordered fries chicken and chicken tenders with fries and they did warn us it would take twenty mins because they cook them fresh to order. They were the crispiest, tastiest, flakiest pieces of chicken. The fries were awesome too. I had a single chicken taco and it was fresh, flavorful and delicious! We also ordered some bubble tea blended drinks that were good. I'm glad we stopped here.“

“We were searching for a restaurant nearby and came across Wah! Taj. The reviews were really good so, decided to try it and I am glad we did. The kiddo got the combo bowl with daal n rice and chicken 65 and we got chicken biryani and the fish fry …. Everything was just so fresh and delicious and just felt like a good homemade meal. We also got Gajjar ka halwa for dessert and were just impressed with the quality of the food and the warmth and friendliness of the host. We will definitely be back for more 😀“

“For the amount and quality of food you get for the price, this place is a steal. After traveling all day and parking at the Cumberland Blue Line, we came down the road to Bab Alsalam and I cannot rave enough how amazing this place is and will be coming back each and every single time we travel out of O'Hare. The food was not only delicious, but so much flavor punched into every bite. We ordered a Chicken Shawarma Entree and the Mixed Shawarma and both were exceptional in taste. Comes with salads, pita bread, and incredibly flavorful hummus. Attached is a photo of how much food they give you. It's massive. We had enough for leftovers the next day. HIGHLY recommend this place and I'm already trying to find a way to make my way back to Chicago just to eat at this place again lol. Thanks for the amazing service!“

“Took my date here from dinner as she recommended, and was pleased as punch that it was as good as she advertised! Service was lightning quick, atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming, and the food was divine. It was my first time having Indian cuisine, and it did not disappoint one bit! I had the Butter Chicken and my date had the Cheese Dosa. Both came out hot and appetizing, and the Butter Chicken tasted amazing. 10/10, would absolutely eat here almost every day if I could.
Edit on 08/15/2026: Went back her for dinner again and it was still a banger. Get the Mushroom Cheese Dosa, it's so good.“

“My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items! “The most underrated pizza spot in chicago! Lots of people prioritize getting Pizza Hut or Jets Pizza but I highly recommend getting Pizza from this spot. Whenever your getting a pizza from here, get the Mango Habanero Sauce. I honestly found out about this sauce by just asking them which sauce is the most spicy.“

“I had place an order of boneless wings for an event around 3pm for it to be ready at 9:30pm. They were so kind to accomodate the time. Pretty much had the food ready as I got there. Ali, who attended me, was so kind and provided wonderful service and everyone at the event finished everything and thought it was delicious! I do want to point out that I have been going to Wing Snob for some bonesles wings and I gotta say that the batter at this Brown's Chicken was lighter and didn't make me feel so bloated. “We ordered a 12-piece fried chicken with 2 sides and 6 honey biscuits...this was BY FAR THE BEST fried chicken we have tasted, including a certain chain named after a "sailor-man", starts with a "p"... the coating on the chicken was just right, very tasty! And those honey-biscuits, Ohhh wow! Even the coleslaw was crunchy and delicious 😋 I will be going back to Mr. Broast for chicken very soon!
