“ordered a large order. they provided lots of sauce but forgot two main courses. instead of saying oh well and hanging up they went out of the way to bring us the items and a treat of baklava. this business has always been great and make all customers feel valued“

“Wow! A+++ What a find! We came in on a Sunday night and we were just blown away by our meals. The fresh homemade ice tea was delicious and unique, the hummus and stuffed grape leaves were both super yummy. The kefta and chicken schwarma were both very good- every detail to the meal was homemade and very fresh. The garlic toum sauce was a great accent and the tahini was wonderful too! Homemade pickled vegetables with exotic flavors. The baklava was one of the best I’ve ever had. From beginning to end the entire meal was just outstanding! Clearly made by people who care! We felt transported to another place with the amazing flavors! If we lived in the area, we’d definitely be regulars here!

“Tasty shawarma and excellent service. Reasonable prices in addition make it a great choice for a casual meal or take out. Has room for improvement when it comes to decor. That said, I'll take the excellent food at this spot any day over a restaurant with great interior design and average food.

“We had a great time at Pita Pita Mediterranean with our coworkers! The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the service is excellent – the staff is very friendly and attentive.
The food was amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We especially loved chicken shawarma, hummus. The portions are big, and the presentation is great.
If you’re looking for delicious Mediterranean food and great service, this is the place to go! We’ll definitely be back.“

“It's a really great Mediterranean restaurant in Niles. A group of people I work with every Saturday, and I order lunch from here. We order the platters, they are huge! The rice, meats, and vegetables are all perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly as well. Owners are very gracious and helpful. Great place to eat, a great place to cater from.“

“The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional! Everything, down to the drink names, perfectly complemented the ambiance. This is an absolutely beautiful place to enjoy dinner and great food. The shawarma rolls, pork chops, and Moroccan tagine were all outstanding. If you enjoy sweet and refreshing cocktails, I highly recommend the 'Gotta Have Faith.' Overall, I would definitely return to try more dishes and highly recommend visiting this unique spot. “First time visit and boy was it tasty! The baked chicken sandwich was amazing. Crunchy and the cheese on top was perfect. Friend of mine had the gyro trio, which he said was fantastic. Waitress was great and super nice. Gotta say overall great first time experience, well done guys!“

“I’ve lived less than a mile from this place for a decade and never tried it; tonight was the night. It’s a unique establishment - hookah lounge, banquet hall, bar. Walking in was a little confusing for first timers but we were quickly welcomed and seated at the bar. Drink pours were impressively heavy. Our food came out fast and was great. The cheese burek appetizer deserves special mention with its garlic and hot sauces! Our waiter/bartender was in full hustle mode on a busy Friday night but still found time to take good care of us and have a few short chats. Overall I’d highly recommend eating here. It’s a bit “different,” but who likes the same old thing over and over? I’ll be back.

Parking: Parking in front and behind the building, one lot has a small curb to traverse. Not an issue for most vehicles.“

“The service was friendly and the food was tasty, but not incredible. The place was quite expensive with 2 bowls costing over $35 at lunch time. The seating in the restaurant is quite basic, but roomy and comfortable. No metal utensils even for dine-in customers“

“My first time at the Modern Plate today. I was blown away by the beautiful dining and club room. The food is absolutely amazing and filling. The owner Ted is a very passionate man about his restaraunt, and I admire that. It absolutely shows that there is concern and care that goes into every corner of the Modern Plate. Now, I was here for an event in the club room, but rest assured, I WILL be coming here for just the dining experience and the food. I live about 50min away, but it is...THAT good. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful dinner and a night on the town.“

“My family and I had their chicken mandi and it was quite delicious, masha'Allah. The chicken was very tender and basically melted off the bone. The rice was very flavorful. Both myself, wife, and two young kids ate it all.

“My family ate here today after a soccer game and it was the perfect spot to grab some quick food. They have a lot of items on their menu, and everything we got was great: chicken pita, gyro, burgers, chicken fingers and soup. The portions are large and you get your money's worth here. The owner was extremely friendly and you can tell he takes pride in his restaurant. We will be back!“
