“I was craving a gyro and went in for the first time about a year ago. I've been back maybe 7 times since, and everything has been delicious and really consistent. The gyro is definitely the best around. I love the atmosphere too, you just can't replicate a truly vintage place. Paul, the owner is also so nice!“

“First time trying Uyghur food, it was amazing! Our server Ayana was so sweet and told us all about the menu. We tried a little of everything! My favorites were the Uyghur Laghman and pelmini. The honey cake was so good we got two slices to-go. We will definitely be coming back.“

“I love the Beef Swarma Entree when you substitute Hummus for the rice. The Cucumber and Tomato salad which comes with it is also excellent. You also get a piece of Pita Bread with the Entree. Also try their Baklava variety pack. Really great selection of different types of Baklava.“

“Usually a menu with everything on it is a sign a restaurant doesn't do anything well. However, BYG is an exception to that rule. They have something for everyone on their menu - from Greek gyros and Italian pastas to Buffalo wings and burgers - and all of it (which I have tried) is delicious! Great spot for a family dinner night when everyone is feeling something different.“

“So I can't remember which bowl I got because this was my very first time eating here. But it had a spicy chicken and a whole bunch of vegetables and was delicious. The salad dressing was a little bit watery, so that would be the only thing that I would change. But that's pretty minuscule.“

I had their harissa chicken bowl with a skewer of salmon kabob on a side. It was alright, nothing extraordinary.
$19,48 - including tax. They are kinda stingy on protein, that amount of chicken was for kids size meal. That’s why I had to add salmon ($4 for 2 tinny pieces of salmon).“

“Local gem...where do I begin? Food is always made fresh to order. Love the gyros but the tuna melt is a close second. Unfortunately we moved to Arizona but ALWAYS drop in when we come home to visit. The staff and especially the owner always greet us with a friendly smile...gosh I miss my weekly visits here. Looking forward to my next visit in the Spring.“

“Almost forgot about this when scrolling thru my photos. This past June was the first time trying this location, 2nd time overall and the previous was at the Schaumburg location.
I really like their menu here although to many it may be just another Chicago style/Greek fare restaurant. That's fine by me being I live for Chicago hotdogs, juicy burgers, Italian beef, gyros, fries, etc.
The food overall is really good here but the gyros are the bomb. We don't have any Brandy's locations up in Lake County (I live in Beach Park) but I sure wish we did!
If ever in the area again, I could definitely go for some tasty grub from Brandy's. Wish for continued boomin' business for decades to come for the owner(s).“
