“This past weekend a group ( 14 ) of us experienced a wonderful evening at Pazzi Di Pizza in Elmhurst. It was a fun get-together that was enhanced by great appetizers and varied, delicious pizzas. We also were served by some of the best and most courteous staff we have ever experienced. Marco, the Manager, who attentively scheduled our evening, came over, introduced himself, inquired about our needs, and then introduced us to Charlie, our evening's server. Charlie was exceptional!! It was our second time meeting at this venue, and I highly recommend a visit!”

“I had the pleasure of trying the burger, sausage, broccoli salad, fries, banana pudding, Mac and queso, and sticky pork belly—and let me tell you, every single bite was an absolute delight.

The sticky pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sausage link was perfectly juicy and bursting with flavor. The fries were golden, crispy, and even better when paired with the tangy Texas Red and Carolina Gold sauces.

The burger and the sausage link, though, were the (tied) stars of the show. Both choices are simple and very reasonably priced. The burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. Each bite was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and incredibly satisfying. The sausage link was made with a perfectly balanced blend of ingredients that made it impossible to put down.

The Mac and queso was a standout as well—completely unique and absolutely next-level. It’s not your traditional mac n’ cheese; it’s a bold, creamy creation that left me wanting more. The broccoli salad was a refreshing surprise, with a perfectly balanced tanginess and flavor that was, quite literally, DILL-icious!

I finished off the meal with their banana pudding, which was the perfect way to end such a feast. Light, airy, and just sweet enough, it was like a cloud of dessert heaven.

On top of all the incredible food, the service was quick, warm, and friendly. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu—this place is a total gem!”

“A chill local sushi shop with amazing prices and even better sushi. My friend and I love to come here on our lunch break, and we've been blown away every time.

Sally is the go-to person during the day, and she's been a delight every time. Not only is the service fast and phenomenally attentive, but the staff are both knowledgeable and willing to give great recommendations too. Their specials actually feel special: the Mango Tango roll could almost be a dessert dish! The fish is fresh and tasty; as a tuna lover, I'm particularly delighted when there's no hint if fishiness, and every roll I've ordered here has been nothing less than delicious. Their side dishes are generous and tasty, the rolls are of perfect size, and I've never once left hungry. Even their miso soup hits the spot on breezy days, and that's a recipe that's hard to nail as well as they do it here.

I can only imagine that if their lunch menu is *this* awesome, their dinners must be even better! Thanks for being the best lunch sushi spot in the area!”

“Sushi is no longer served here which surprised me but instead I chose a teriyaki shrimp lunch meal which was excellent. I also LOVED the golden shrimp and will be back for that!!! My food was hot with decent portions, and the lemonade tasted freshly-made and tart. I think she may have used pure ingredients as I watched her make a pitcher at the bar area. I also liked the music which surprised me- 90's R&B slow jams. Super chill and quiet atmosphere here with interesting and unique decor throughout.”

Luchiano has yet to be wrong on a recommendation and we have been coming for the past year and a half!”

Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.”

“I've been wanting to try this place for a long time since I drive pass it often. Today me and my husband tried it the first time for lunch. Very very good. My husband is very particular when it comes to Asian food since he is Asian himself and has his spots in the city we visit. We ordered a few things to share and try. The portions are very generous and we ordered too much as usual but we wanted to try several things. We had the shrimp soup in coconut milk and veggies ( I can't remember the name). Very good. I would come back for that. Also we had the Papaya salad. To me, this was the only thing I probably wouldn't order again. It wasn't bad, but I prefer my husbands which is hotter and a few more things in it. Then we ordered a chicken skewer with a peanut curry sauce. This was great. Very tender and the sauce omg . I asked the server if he could bring a tiny little bowl with some pho broth to taste it. My husband is a pain in the butt about his pho in the suburbs. He approved of it. That's a complement to them then haha. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp Thai spice level. And omg yesss! So good. I can't wait to take my older son here, he will love it. My husband got the glass noodles with crispy duck. It was so darn good and the duck was perfect. Soft, crispy but not oily. We also had Thai tea. Very good. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.”

“My friend and I stopped in at Firewater BBQ in Elmhurst on Thursday Dec. 1st for the "Granny's Lunch Box Special" which is available daily from 11AM-2PM. This was my second visit and my friend's first at Firewater. We both ordered the Angus beef brisket sandwich with a side of 3 cheese Mac & Cheese and a soda. The brisket (smoked for 22 hrs) is amazingly tender and flavorful. It was piled high on a toasted brioche bun and is served with your choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce or both if you like. The Mac & Cheese is sooo silky-smooth and creamy and compliments the brisket quite well. There are complimentary pickled jalapeños and sweet & spicy pickles available as well. My friend was so impressed by this amazing brisket that he placed another exact order to go to bring home. The cashier who also took our order was very friendly and polite. We told one of the chefs, Shawn, (pictured) that we really enjoyed the brisket and complimented his skills. My friend and I will both be returning to Firewater BBQ and we'll definitely be letting our family and friends know about this wonderful BBQ spot.”

“I had been meaning to come here for months but finally arrived this morning. This place is great! Well lit, clean, friendly staff, and the food is awesome! This will definitely be part of my morning routine going forward.”

“Good place all around. If you're looking for a quick bite, this is a good place to stop. There's a big variety in sandwiches and salads to try, and of course there's pizza and panzaroti made in the word fire oven.

We had a sandwich and a salad the first time we went and they were very good. As were the cookies, and lots to choose from. Will have to go back and check their other offerings. It also has a deli counter with cheese and meats.”

I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “I walked in one rainy day, and I never have been to this deli store, and I asked the man for a tunafish sandwich. It was the best tunafish sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. The bread was fresh. The tuna fish was fresh, the seasonings, he put Italian seasonings on this tuna fish sandwich, I will specially go to Elmhurst to eat this food. It is so good you need to try this place.”

“After having a fire at our home in Wheaton, we found temporary housing in Elmhurst. We noticed this restaurant & decided to try it. Reviews on Yelp were good. Great service, food and atmosphere. We noticed many Hispanics there, indicating to us that it is an excellent restaurant. Loved the music that accompanied our meal. It took me back to my high school trip to Mexico in 1967. The owner, Oscar, made us feel welcome. I just wish they had “helado frito”. We had been to Cozymel’s and El Jimador restaurants in the past but both are gone now. This will be our new favorite Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend it.”
