“We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding reception at Francesca’s Amici Elmhurst. The event coordinator, Nancy, was hands down the best. She is well experienced and has a true talent. Our group of nearly 80 people were very comfortable in the private room. There was plenty of room for our guests to enjoy a standing cocktail hour followed with a sit down dinner. The food was even better the evening of, kudos to the kitchen. And they did any excellent job making sure they were well staffed for the event. The staff was EXCELLENT, attentive and helpful. Thank you again!”

There is no doubt in my mind that this place eventually will be a five star restaurant. The food was phenomenal service atmosphere But I will tell you this much. Don’t go there with your good. Looks thinking you’re gonna buy something bring your cash, but it’s well worth it. The wife and I cannot wait to go back to try something else.”

“We ate at Phase Three today at the recommendation of my doctor. And it did NOT disappoint. We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There were so many flavors and they all blended so dang well. They even had some unique beer option that we brought home. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it”

“This past weekend a group ( 14 ) of us experienced a wonderful evening at Pazzi Di Pizza in Elmhurst. It was a fun get-together that was enhanced by great appetizers and varied, delicious pizzas. We also were served by some of the best and most courteous staff we have ever experienced. Marco, the Manager, who attentively scheduled our evening, came over, introduced himself, inquired about our needs, and then introduced us to Charlie, our evening's server. Charlie was exceptional!! It was our second time meeting at this venue, and I highly recommend a visit!”

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.”

For that reason I will be back, lobster was delicious , get the elote corn for a side ! Melt in your mouth sea bass, first time trying oysters wow 😯 YUMMY, drinks also yummy . This is just an all around great spot in a nice area .”

“My family and I have been dining at Roberto's restaurant for over 27 years and I feel the secret to their success is consistency. The quality of their food is very good and their level of service is impeccable. It's fine dining in a neighborhood setting. We reserve through OpenTable for special occasions like birthdays because we know none of our guests will be disappointed with Roberto's quality. The restaurant side always delivers, but don't sleep on their carry-out food. The pizza, I believe, is award winning. The dinners, like BBQ ribs or chicken, are some of my favorites. Their pasta sauces are of the finest quality. Insider tip: Try the baked panzarotti with any ingredients you like, from plain cheese or my favorite, Italian beef and hot giardinera. You won't be disappointed.”

“We've come to Sushi Time enough times that the owner knows my son by name and his order. (I'm actually surprised it took me this long to review!) Sally and Mike are wonderful people who go above and beyond in customer service. Be it chatting with my son, cutting up the maki rolls into smaller pieces for him, or remembering GF soy sauce - I'm always so impressed. While my son and I indulge in the rolls, my husband has shown me their menu is extensive and includes other delicious meals including the fried rice, crab rangoons, and chicken katsu. Keep doing what you're doing! We always enjoy our lunch visits.”

“I came upon this café with my boyfriend a while back and I have to say, its the perfect mom and pop breakfast/lunch café. Located in a quiet quaint strip with ample parking. During the summer they even offer outdoor seating to those that would choose. Mimi is always on top of her customer care and knowledge of the menu. You will never have an empty coffee cup and you will always leave in a better mood because of her warm and bubbly personality. That kind of positivity is contagious! Even on slightly busy days, Mimi and her staff work very hard to learn their customers and welcome them back like family. Its very enjoyable observing how warm the staff is to nrw and returning cutomers. This is my favorite breakfast nook now and I know it will be for you too if you truly appreciate a family home-cooked atmosphere <3”

“My friend and I stopped in at Firewater BBQ in Elmhurst on Thursday Dec. 1st for the "Granny's Lunch Box Special" which is available daily from 11AM-2PM. This was my second visit and my friend's first at Firewater. We both ordered the Angus beef brisket sandwich with a side of 3 cheese Mac & Cheese and a soda. The brisket (smoked for 22 hrs) is amazingly tender and flavorful. It was piled high on a toasted brioche bun and is served with your choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce or both if you like. The Mac & Cheese is sooo silky-smooth and creamy and compliments the brisket quite well. There are complimentary pickled jalapeños and sweet & spicy pickles available as well. My friend was so impressed by this amazing brisket that he placed another exact order to go to bring home. The cashier who also took our order was very friendly and polite. We told one of the chefs, Shawn, (pictured) that we really enjoyed the brisket and complimented his skills. My friend and I will both be returning to Firewater BBQ and we'll definitely be letting our family and friends know about this wonderful BBQ spot.”

I had the sampler with oatmeal pancakes and they were delicious!!! My other options included the chicken avocado crepe and Mediterranean omelette. The coffee was good, it came to the table in its own thermal to stay hot. I highly recommend!!”

“We loved the ambiance of this Irish Pub! The Christmas decor and lights make it a wonderland! The band was great and the pub has so much charm!

This all made up for the 3 bartenders who were more worried about talking to their friends than waiting on customers. We waited 20 min, as did customers next to us, staff looked right at us and kept talking to their friends. A bartender with curly hair- she actually scowled at us for asking to place a drink order. Exception was one bartender who had very long straight dark brown hair: she was awesome and was doing all of the others work with a huge smile on her face! She was great! It was a busy night that the restaurant could have had higher cash flow if the others focused on drink orders. We'll be back though, really great place!”

“After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “Astonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.”

On my second time try the chorizo a little too much for my personal taste. But my experience was amazing is a family business extra clean, very important for a pleasant meal. “After having a fire at our home in Wheaton, we found temporary housing in Elmhurst. We noticed this restaurant & decided to try it. Reviews on Yelp were good. Great service, food and atmosphere. We noticed many Hispanics there, indicating to us that it is an excellent restaurant. Loved the music that accompanied our meal. It took me back to my high school trip to Mexico in 1967. The owner, Oscar, made us feel welcome. I just wish they had “helado frito”. We had been to Cozymel’s and El Jimador restaurants in the past but both are gone now. This will be our new favorite Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend it.”
