“We've known about Elephant & Vine for a while and just got around to eating there. It was super yummy. The menu is limited but the food is great. I had the mammoth burger. The Elephant sauce was the star for sure. My honey had the Korean BBQ chicken sandwich which was amazing. He definitely ordered better. We also had the buffalo cauliflower wings. The sauce was great not too spicy, very smooth. The ambiance was nice, modern but welcoming. The service was also great. Our order came out quickly so the fries and tots were warm and crispy. We will be back for sure.“

“Whether you’re from Mars or Venus, if you ask yourself, “When we go out to eat, what do I do?” then Ten Mile House is for you. Cool artwork, good food and great tunes if the owner is there.“

“The staff was very friendly and polite. As for the burgers, I really liked one called something like the Chicken California. Also, there’s a promotion where if you bring a receipt, you get the second one for free. I really like that place.“

“This restaurant is really outstanding and really great for the image of Evanston's southern end. The food is fantastic and I very much enjoy everything from the Bacon Temptation Omelette to the Spicy Poblano Omelette to the Crispy Chicken Sandwich to the Cowboy Burger. All of the food is fabulous and very well prepared, the variety is wonderful, and the coffee is always fresh. And above all, Ivan and the waitstaff provide customer service that's 'above and beyond' in every way. They're very kind, compassionate, efficient, and accomodating to everybody who comes into the establishment. Keep up the great work!“

“Came in around midnight and tried this place for the first time. I got the grilled chicken rice bowl and it was delicious - it had that real authentic taste. The flavor on the mango habanero wings were amazing, sweat and not too spicy. I will be coming back to try the Philly cheese steak.“

“It has the absolute best food! In the 30+ years we’ve been going for dinner, we’ve never had a bad meal! The Athenian chicken and kabobs are outstanding, along with the Greek fries. Maria, the owner is wonderful! And very accommodating! Definitely need to go here more often! A family favorite for sure!“

“Good food, fast, decently priced!“
“Been going here since it opened, food is amazing. From breakfast to dinner I've tried it all, even got my kids hooked. I recommend it all, but especially the catfish. Had it the past 3 weeks straight. I don't miss it when he make it. I find a way to get there. Great customer service as well. Make sure you stop by, you won't be disappointed!!!!“
“I love wild fork so much, everything is so fresh and delicious! I wish they had chicken lizards“

“I first got introduced to this place circa 1958-59! I doubt it is the same ownership but their hotdogs topped off with sliced tomatoes and celery salt brings back memories of my youth-long ago. I still go there every time I visit Chicago.“

“cleaner than it’s ever been :-) staff is getting friendlier, but it’s not their job to be friendly and their job is to provide the best wings in all of North America definitely an in all of illinois and without a doubt all of Chicago. So if you haven’t come here for the wings, the sauce, the ranch, the Buff Joes, and the very unique indoor seating. Then you’re just missing out on all that buffalo wings can be.“

“I remember when there was a Steak 'n Shake in my hometown. No longer. And the last Steak 'n Shake in Chicago has closed. Because the national chain underwent a radical change in its business model, it has closed 200 locations since 2018. Now there are 406 restaurants in the United States. City dwellers who love steakburgers have to travel to one of nine locations in the suburbs. The closest to my home is at 2209 Oakton Street in Evanston, Chicago's closest northern suburb. Open from 10 to midnight daily, it offers what made Steak 'n Shake famous--steakburgers, fries and shakes. My order doesn't change. A double steakburger with cheese, a large portion of beef tallow fries and a chocolate milk shake. The steakburger comes with two steakburger patties topped with American cheese and my choice of toppings, which includes ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, tomato, onion and lettuce. It never ceases to please. Other Steak 'n Shake locations in the Chicago area are in Glenview, Rosemont, Downers Grove, Hoffman Estates, Tinley Park, Elk Grove Village, Gurnee and Glendale Heights.“

“Delicious burgers. Personally don’t like the fact that I can’t order from a person anymore even when standing in the restaurant. Will revisit if they ever start functioning normally again.“
