Looking back at our wedding photos, it is truly impossible to tell the difference between the inspiration photo sent and the cake delivered to our venue. It was GORGEOUS! In addition, the flavor was out of this world. They even sent a custom box to package our top tier for easy transportation after the reception. “I recently was visiting Chicago and as a habit, I searched for Best Gluten Free bakery and discovered Defloured. What an amazing place. As a Celiac, finding good GF baked goods is rare to find. Wow what a selection. I purchased a chocolate cupcake, two love pucks, cinnamon rolls, poppy lemon bread, baguette, and aNutella sandwich cookie. Everything was really delicious. I mean world class quality. I now plan on making regular visits to Chicago so I can load up and fill my freezer with possibly the best GF baked goods in the U.S. I’ve tried a lot.“

Staff are always so kind and attentive, the atmosphere is witchy and comforting. They have tarot reading events. “This place is the bomb! I just ordered my third cake from the Sugar Daddy for a friend's birthday and once again, they exceeded expectations. This cake was vegan so I was a little unsure how it would taste, but it was absolutely decadent and delicious. It was a showstopper at the party making it feel extra special, and was a huge hit with everyone in attendance. The Sugar Daddy team are really talented and put a lot of care into their work. It's well worth what they charge for such a high quality, personalized cake. Thank you!“

“This is not technically a review of their baked goods, which are undeniably amazing and baked with love as you’ll see in this story. Jennivee's Bakery , LLC’s AMAZING staff saved my dogs life!! This past Friday, one of the owners, Andres, the bakery staff, and an amazing group of dedicated bystanders rescued my dog, Mo, who had run off in Oz Park and was missing and in danger for hours prior to his rescue. After seeing Mo dart into traffic multiple times, this amazing group of strangers was able to corner him, and Andres bravely was able to grab him. He and the team at Jennivee’s then sheltered him and calmed him as long as it took and were ultimately able to bring him to Bond Vet who scanned his microchip and got in touch with me. My dogs are basically my kids. I pour allllll of my love into them. I still can’t believe how lucky we got and how close of a call this was. We’re shaken but relieved and endlessly grateful to Andres and everyone at Jennivee’s!!! Run don’t walk to get yourself some amazing treats and support this incredible business and the people in it!!!!“

I tried the Old Fashioned Chocolate, which is verryyyy rich so if that's your thing you'll love them, and the Vanilla Raspberry, which were my favorite-- not too heavy but the buttercream was fruit-forward and delicious. I think since I'm less of a frosting person I might opt for a cake next time for a better cake to frosting ratio, but these were great.“

“DeliPan on Harlem and Schubert THIS IS THE BEST BREAD IVE EVER HAD! They got a new customer, my kids and my wife were so happy! And señora Martha was really nice and helpful. I had never tasted the Guatemalan bread and now it’s probably one of my favorite! 100/100 recommend. Also they’re taking a lot of extra precautions during all of this.
