Starbucks in Fairview Heights

“First of all I love Starbucks! But for the last 2 days I've went to the Fairview Heights location to get my same drink. The caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino, and for 2 days straight I've asked for light caramel drizzle because it's too sweet and extra crunch. It even says it on the label stuck to my drink, but yet it's covered in caramel and there's no extra crunch. And I know sometimes we become complacent because we're in a hurry we're making the same drink every day multiple times, but I usually have to get a spoon and scrape it out. I will even pay more next time I go, just to get what I ask for...“

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks almost every morning for about a year now before work, and just a few weeks in, Steph noticed me in the drive-thru and remembered me. That alone meant so much—but it didn’t stop there.

Over this past year, Steph has been there for me on some of my very best days and some of my hardest ones. I’ve shared little wins, big milestones, and even moments where life felt heavy—and every single time, she meets me with kindness, warmth, and the biggest smile.

It might sound cheesy, but she truly has been a light in my life. On days like today, when everything feels overwhelming, Steph has this incredible way of lifting my spirit—sometimes without even realizing how much she’s doing.

What started as a quick stop for coffee has turned into something so much more. We’ve built a genuine connection and friendship through a drive-thru window, and that’s something really special.
