“Has been a staple of our small town for many years. It went uphill once the Stockstils, and Herkerts bought it. I worked for them when I became a young mother and they did nothing but support me and showed me love and compassion. The food has always been great as well as the atmosphere and service. Would recommend to anyone!”

“The food was amazing. The salad was simple, but amazing. It wasn't a gourmet salad by any stretch, but it was so good. Then came the catfish fritters. Holy smokes were they good. I had some plain and they were top notch. I tried some with tartar and onion and they were top notch. Our server was the nicest, friendliest young woman. We wanted for nothing. And while we waited for our food, we watched the cars cross the bridge, and boats tooling up and down the river. I wish I could give 10 stars; can't wait to go back.”

“One of my favorite places to eat in Grafton. I love the peel and eat shrimp. For something different and delicious have the bologna sandwich! We love it! Service is always excellent, even in the middle of winter when we are inside by the fireplace! The ambiance is old nautical stuff, but fun!”

“We stopped in today for the first time. It was after the dinner rush close to closing. The staff was very friendly. We had the pork chops family style and the catfish fritter dinner. Both were delicious and arrived in a reasonable time. The staff checked on us frequently and made sure we were taken care of. Great comfort food. It was exactly what we were expecting. I grew up going to the original location when I lived in jerseyville, and the new location does a good job of carrying the same vibes. The menu has lots of choices and the prices are very reasonable. Great job bringing it back, and I’ll definitely be back when I am back in the area. Almost forgot to mention the new location is great for river and bridge views. Lucky to have barges passing by and watching the bridge being raised and lowered.”

“The Grafton Winery & Brewhaus in located along the Mississippi River offering a nice patio with river views

This is a combination winery and brewery. You walk up the stairs to the restaurant as the brewery is located on the main floor. You order your food and drinks at the counter and seat yourself. You take your drinks with you and a server brings out your food.

They did not offer any lagers or gluten free beers so I tried their flight of 6 beers and my wife had a High Noon. The beers were not bad but nothing stood out for me to purchase any cans to go.

They didn't really offer any gluten free items so I tried their Wine Glazed wings with an Apple Crisp BBQ sauce. Good and meaty but I would have preferred more sauce.

They do offer a nice menu of shareable,burgers ,salads and flatbreads.

For a quick bite to eat or just from drinks with nice views of the river,stop in and give this place a try.”

“Our stay at the Aeries Resort Lodge in the Deck House was a 5 star stay for our needs and quick getaway. The check in/checkout process was quick and efficient. The room was exceptionally clean and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a luxurious feel while still being cozy; (allow extra time for sleeping) making it a perfect escape. The view of Grafton and the Mississippi River from the deck house was also nice, it was cloudy during our stay. If you're looking for a last-minute New Year's Eve room or just a quick getaway, I highly recommend booking a stay at the Aeries Resort Lodge for a relaxing and memorable experience.”
