“We ❤️ Thornton Distilling!! We come here regularly and I just realized I've never left a review encouraging others to check it out. The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. My husband has done the distillery tour for his bachelor party and thought it was really fun. Highly recommend!“

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

In all honesty the only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that some of the people who go there are a little distasteful. Still a great place to have some drinks, shoot some pool and chill on the patio.“

Depending on when you go the line (drive thru) can be very long!! Always worth the wait for me,but some people will stay in their cars on the main street (Sibley) waiting for a spot in the parking lot. It’s a pretty small space on the inside. Their flavored iced type drinks are good too. They accept cash,debit/cc/AP! The staff I’ve dealt with over the years have always been friendly! I’ve had other meals overtime too,but I really enjoy the chicken the most. Almost forgot,burritos are good too!! They also follow instruction regarding how you want your food prepared. “It's a take out place. (Not dine in). I ordered curry goat with cabbage and yams and was very pleased with my meal.
The goat was tender and not overcooked (which happens alot when ordering goat). The flavor was excellent!
The cabbage was very good and the yam was just ok. (Gave me one large yam piece)
It included the rice &beans which were very good and well seasoned.
It was also a Great portion size for the price. I recommend and will visit again.“

“We went there on Friday night . We wanted to try something different so I got the Friday Fish Fry with mashed potatoes and corn. My husband got the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and the green beans. He loved his meal. My fish was good and the tartar sauce was delicious! My corn was not very warm but I ate them. The mashed potatoes were hard and cold. I told the waitress and she brought out a new one. We tried the sugar plum tea , it was very good! The service was good and we had a very nice experience. The last time we were there it was a disaster! But we decided to give them another try. Glad we did, it’s like they have new people working there and things were much better. Everything was hot and fresh! Fries were still crispy with the sauce on them! Turkey was melt in ur mouth delicious 😋. No leftovers, we ate it all in one sitting. Woo woods is our new bbq joint!
